[Fanart and convention] Japan Expo in Paris

Hey everybody!

From July 1st to 4th there will be Japan Expo near Paris and I would like to know if anyone was going so that we could do a sort of meeting in there. You don't have to be cosplaying a character from hetalia, it's simply to meet other hetalia fans (and have fun~).

So if you're going to Japan Expo, it would be great to meet somewhere in the convention to take some pictures, talk and have some tea fun~

I'll be there 3 days, from Friday to Sunday, and I should go cosplayed as revolutionnary!England (if I don't have troubles until the convention and if I've got enough time..) if I can't wear it, i'll go as Pirate!England or casual!england or hungary. I'll be with some friends who're fan of hetalia and some of them will probably be cosplayed as characters from hetalia too.

I don't know if it's really useful but.. here you go about this convention XD;
Japan Expo takes place at the Parc d’Expositions in Paris-Nord Villepinte. It's open from 10:00 am for those who've bought their tickets before arriving and from 11:00 for the others until 07:00pm. It least 4 days from thursday to Sunday. (http://www.japan-expo.com/en/)

Yes! It's the first time I go to a convention beyond Germany so I am very excited. A friend of mine asked me to come along because we only live 2 hours away from Paris (with ICE).

Hm.. we have a big Vocaloid Group on Saturday so~ I'll be free on sunday. Maybe I can come as Hungary. ^,^

awwwh don't worry, a lot of people don't speak french there =) I'll speak English, will it be alright? (even though you won't understand because i'm shy =_=)

Oh! Then let me give you a very very useful advice: bring water. A lot of water. And the thing you use to fan yourself, it's horribly hot in this convention =_=

Hah! I happen to be taking a trip to France (I'm American) this summer, and I think I'll be in Paris one of those days! Too bad it's a school trip though, so I can't ditch the group. :( Otherwise I'd totally come.
How close is it to the main part of Paris though? Because if I see any cosplayers walking around, I might just die of happiness. XD

Aaw, I'm afraid it's not so close from Paris itself :( it's in the area around it - next to Charles de Gaulle airport. So, it takes nearly 30min to go from here to Paris in subway.

(But in the subway there's chance you meet cosplayers -or weirdly dressed anime fans - this very week-end even in Paris itself, I think.)
