[DISCUSSION+QUESTION] Who's voicing who?

Sososo, the trailer for the Funimation dub came out and from what I can tell, there are two things that may happen:

1. No MRC (Marukaite Chikyuu, I don't blame you if you thought that was My Chemical Romance too OTL LOL) I have been proven wrong! o3o
2. Greg Ayres is not voicing Italy ;A; (sure he's the only voice actor I know, BUT MY FEELINGS REMAIN! Goku must equal Italy!)

Anyway, I'm sorry if this had been posted before, but has there been any announcements of who will be the cast? If so, what 'cha guys think? You like? Yes, no, Greg Ayres plz? SHADDAP, I loved him when he did Goku >3< Also, my spelling, grammar, and abuse of all caps ttly makes dis postleik smart, psh yah.

What do you mean no MKC? The song in the trailer was made just for the trailer by the sound guy. Knowing Funi they'll dub MKC

Like the first commentor said, don't worry that is just a crack song for the trailer. I am not to sure if they will dub MKC though, they don't dub songs to often lately.

Actually, they have dubbed songs recently! They did the One Piece openings and endings VERY well! That series is VERY dear to me and while the Japanese versions will always be best, the dubs were extremely enjoyable to listen to.

Actually, he sounds like him, even in his normal voice XDDD

I have a little list of who I feel should play who that way I can match up with the official list, but I keep that to myself. Although the last three castings FUNi has done for recent anime I've been right on the money~ Hopefully I'm right.

In any case, I hope Vic gets a part, is that so horrible of me? XD

That would be awesome if he was in it, I think he's great.

On another note, I'm actually kinda scared of watching the dub. It might turn out great in the end, but I'm pessimistic like that XD

Ohh by what I heard.. English!Italy's voice resemble that of English!Fai D. Flourite (you know, that blonde guy from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles).. and that would make sense, since in the original versions Daisuke Namikawa is the seiyuu for both of them...

so, why not? Vic Mignogna (who voiced Fai) could voice Italy (kinda that sort of thing that happened with Bleach & Naruto: Noriaki Sugiyama voiced Uryuu Ishida/Sasuke Uchiha, and in their english version, both of them kept the same voice actor.. on purpose. So did the Latin/Spanish version)

Or whatever. I want this in Hetalia to have a SPANISH VER. NOW! :( or at least a Mexico in the character list... *runsaway*

First: THANK YOU!! I'm so sick of people saying "Oh, Vic should voice Switzerland because of Romi Paku and Edward Elric!" I've been tempted to throw the Fai/Namikawa comment at them. :)

Second: Uryuu and Sasuke do not have the same voice in English. :C Uryuu is voiced by Derek Stephen Prince, and Sasuke is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal...

I don't really know enough voice actors to start making up a dream cast for the dub or anything, but I do sort of wish Funimation would stop using the same five voice actors/actresses for all their roles. I think they're sorta getting better with it, but even still. :T

Though all things considered, Vic will probably end up voicing America and that makes me a little sad. The only thing I ever really liked him in was Persona 3. It didn't sound like his voice when that little sound clip of Italy came up in the trailer, anyway.

...That being said, there's no way I'm not buying this dub. So excicted for accents. ;3;

I hope they don't cast him as America, either, because... It wouldn't work. I think they need a bit of a broader horizon than casting him for damn near EVERYTHING. =.=

I'm completely with you about Greg Ayres. I would LOVE to see him play Italy. He would be wonderful.

I'm hoping they bring back old voice actors and keep out people they use frequently (*cough*VIC*cough*). I wish they'd use Justin Cook or John Burgmier more often. I also never get sick of Chris Sabat and Chuck Huber! Can you tell I'm a Yu Yu Hakusho fan? Bring back old Funimation cast members!!
