Renaming Countries?

So, I know there are quite a few people who are unsatisfied with some of the names Himaruya gave the nations, but that's pretty much besides the point. If the human names of the nations didn't exist, and you were allowed to choose whatever you wanted for their names, what would you call them?

Wasn't her name "Amalia"? Though I could be wrong since it's been a while since I've seen the series.

Nope, it's Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun.

It also reminds me of Amelia Earhart from the second Night At The Museum movie, which I hated her character tremendously.

I do want to say that the name in general does have a nice, small, gentle feel to it, so I promise I'm not dissing you for your idea. It would just be difficult for me not to think about either of those characters whenever I heard the name "Amelia".

Eh? I didn't think that you're dissing me. I mean, if I hear the name "Amelia", I first think of the FE Amelia. Or if I read the name Seth, I think of the FE Seth. Or Geoffrey. Or Bastian. And so on and so on. It's normal to connect names to people/characters you know. Though, sometimes it can be quite disturbing or funny p:
