Hetalia art book?

Hi guys....I've recently gone to an anime convention and purchased a hardcover artbook that has official pictures and special bonus fanart/ doujinshi pictures. What I'm curious is is this book official merchandise or is it a bootleg type of thing? I'm sort of guessing it's a bootleg because all the letter characters on the cover do not seem to have any of the Japanese particles...Please correct me if I'm wrong....

Nice book but yeah...I'm just a little concerned.

As far as I know, there isn't an official art book... but I'd have to see it to see for sure ^_^;;;

Can you show us a picture of what it looks like? I think I may have run across it in a store recently and if the art's any good I'd like to get it.

This is what it looks like ^^. There's another book, but it pretty much has the same stuff in it. Just a different cover.

It's all in Chinese >< Obviously it's not official... and I prefer shining Himaruya art for an artbook than this crappy anime art

It had what looked like the official anime art as well as stuff from the pre-anime days and such. But yeah...I had a feeling it wasn't official......Sorry if it seemed like I was oblivious to it..... ._.

You don't have to insult another artist's artwork just because you personally prefer a different style. I happen to think the artwork on this cover is quite impressive.

Also, just because it's in a different language you shouldn't automatically assume it's unofficial either. This one happens to be done by fans, but there are plenty of official merchandise of various animes that have been translated into many different languages.

..I'm sorry for my bad language m(_ _)m I didn't mean to insult anyone. Personally I have only seen scans of artbooks in their native language, so I have no idea about translated artbooks (except the Valkyria Chronicle one I happen to have ><)

Ah, thanks. Yeah, this was the book I saw, but in the store it was in the doujinshi section so that was how I knew it wasn't an official artbook. I was a bit puzzled too at first since it looked quite a bit like the actual anime.
