Fanfiction: Arguing With Myself
Well, it's official. I have no life.
Title: Arguing With Myself
Author/Artist: Meeee
Character(s) or Pairing(s): America
Rating: PG for one curse word.
Warnings: America is a moron.
Summary: During the Healthcare bill, America must have been... conflicted.
Spawned from a random convo here. Fanfic can be found there, as well as below. XD
----
“I tell you, comrades, we have to vote yes on this bill. If it doesn’t pass quickly, we’ll- -” Momentary silence fell as Alfred spun on his heel and changed position, staring at where he was standing only moments before.
“Would you just shut up? And don’t you use that ‘comrade’ thing on me, its bull- -” Another moment of silence.
“No, no it isn’t! This bill is important, or heathcare will never- -”
“Mimic your brother’s but worse? Oh, happy day.”
“CAN IT!”
America continued to spin on his heel, yelling profanities back and forth and even once trying to punch himself by swinging at the air in front of him, spinning around, and being punched in the nose. Moments later, he was up again, yelling into the air with a small amount of blood running down his lip.
Elsewhere surrounding him, the 100 or so people sitting in the chairs around were absolutely silent. A few sat with their mouths agape, a few stared uncontrollably, and even a few in the back were giggling. It wasn’t long before America spun once more, this time to address the Senate staring back at him. By now, he was sporting a worse bloody nose, his glasses were askew, and he held the stupidest look on his face. It could only be described as something between a smile and a frown, ending up in some part of his face looking absolutely elated, and another looking as if it had just witnessed 9/11 for a second time.
“Gentlemen and ladies, I have reached my conclusion! We will pass this bill, and then get the House to vote no, so that way, it’s equal! WE’RE GONNA GET THIS!”
He looked like he’d just come up with the solution to world hunger. His Senators were far less amused.
“Look, Alfred…” One finally spoke up, walking up to him and pressing a 20 dollar bill in his hands as he was pushed towards the door. “How about you call up your brother and buy a drink, okay?”
Before America had time to respond, he was out of the room and his cell phone was already being dialed by an assistant.
When he arrived at the building the next day, he found a messily written sign hanging from the door that read “Closed to Nations.” America let out a long, low whine.
It took the entire day for him to leave after clawing at the door, but the Senate felt awfully accomplished.

Like I said. Life, I do not has it.
