New hetalia figures?

About these figures...
Can you only get them if you buy the dvd?

The picture says you can get them only if you purchase DVD Volume 1 to 4 at Animate.

They were a special limited thing. You had to buy the limited versions of the first 4 DVDs all at the same Animate store and they'd punch a card for each one. Once your card was full you could get the figures.

sob thanks for reminding me that I'm retarded when it comes to Y!JA proxies and thus could never get these for myself ;~;

Sadly, I have yet to see them outside of y!j. I hope someday I'll be able to nab the Germany one, even though it may take me a while to find him again AND be able to get him.

Initially, you could only get them with the limitied editions of the first four DVDs, but when I was in Tokyo, I saw them both being sold seperately at K-Books in Ikebukuro. I'm guessing a fan didn't want them anymore, sold them to the store and K-Books resold it.

If you know someone in Tokyo who could buy it for you, it could work, but otherwise... ^^;

Mandarake sometimes sells used figures and collectibles too. But it's sadly all a matter of being there in Tokyo.

Sorry for butting in, but I had to ask...when were you in Tokyo when you saw them being sold (I'm hoping I can still get to them O_O)?

It was in Ikebukuro. It's right behind the Animate. Just in cast you don't know where it is: So if you go to Ikebukuro, you have to leave the station by following the signs "to Sunshine City". After leaving the station, go straight, then slightly to the left and you should reach a very LOUD street with many shops lined up XD Go all the way through, cross the street, go further ahead and then turn to the left at the next big crossroad. You should see the K-Books there and there's a shop next to it, which is where they have it. And I hope I just remembered it correctly XD

There are a lot of straps, figures and stuff hung up on a grid. And there they should be, if no one has bought them yet XD

Oh, my sentence was kinda mixed up (English isn't my first language and it's the middle of the night here ^^;), I meant when did you visit Tokyo? (but your info was useful, I do get lost all the time ^^;) :D

I was there in February. I left on the 17th and I was in the shop on the 16th in the evening and still saw them there XD

Thanks for answering all my questions :D It's extra hard getting the limited stuff outside Japan (seems like a piece of cake for them for all our sufferings though XD)
