Hetalia gathering at DC Cherry Blossom Festival (Sakura Matsuri)

Anyone going to the Sakura Matsuri on April 10th?

Location: 12th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (meet at Otaku/Pop Culture section [near Congress building])

Time: 3:00 PM (tentative, whichever time is good for everyone^^)

I'll be bringing a Canada and N.Italy with me^^ (with myself being Prussia)

Don't have a hetalia cosplay? Maybe try getting their gakuen outfit or casual!hetalia cosplay together :D

I'd say my hair is kinda like Latvia's...

I didn't know there were hetalia fans in my area, but then again... I'm not good with paying much attention...

I may attempt to go, but we'll see if I can afford the train tickets. I had been hoping there would be a sakura matsuri meetup, but then when the DC meetup next weekend was scheduled I didn't think there would be one so I decided to go to that. If I am capable of affording it I'll be coming as Austria.

Yeah, I don't know if I'm going anymore;; We'll find out if I am on saturday I guess;; If I do end up coming I'll be there as Iggy since my Igiko wig didn't ship in time. Hopefully you'll get to see and America and England there together (willingtomakeyaoi) with a Feli. Let us hope.

That would be great fun! But I have no idea if I can actually go, and I also don't know who to cosplay. (I have an established S.Italy/Spain/Greece cosplay, but I've been trying to look into putting together a Japan cosplay, which could take longer than the time between now and the 10th, especially since I'd have to get over the fact that I'm not Asian and dye my hair.)

My best chance would probably be something Gakuen (god I'm sick of that khaki jacket). However, it being the case that I'm not able to drive myself up there, I'll need to beg my mother for a little help. It doesn't seem incredibly likely....

Wish I coulda worn my Britannia angel but I suppose it was too chilly. Had a blast anyway~ Glad I could meet you guys~ I'd love to see you at cons/future meet-ups. (Maybe come to some in Richmond?)
