Question About Turkey's Ottoman Clothing (and is anyone going to Tekkoshocon?)...

What is exactly is Turkey wearing in the Ottoman era strips? (Like this one and this one?) I'm not very educated in the history of fashion. So is there a particular name for what he's wearing? Is it a hybrid of historical Ottoman garb? Does anyone have any official ref pictures? Any pictures of a real life equivalent?  I'm actually trying to do a historically accurate cosplay that I can wear outside conventions. Please, I'd really appreciate any help.


And on that note, are there any meet-ups or anything planned for Tekkoshocon? Is anybody here going? Anyone going to plan one? (o3o)
