[QUESTION] Was That The End?

After seeing Ep52, it showed in the end the word "End" as compared to the usual "To be continued". Wondering just what that means.

Does it mean the end of the second season? End of the anime (in favor of the movie most likely)? I'm guessing this is just a marker for the end of the season, since as far as I know the studio went on hiatus in favor of no more hassles upon making episodes (or something like that).

I'd like a confirmation though please? (About the "End" thing)

Season 3 has already been confirmed as green lit and going to happen.

EDIT: Though, for some reason, Studio DEEN changed the name for season 3. Instead of Hetalia Axis Powers, it's going to be called "Hetalia World Series". No idea why. I've been making baseball jokes about it, though.

If you look up the DVD listings for season 3 on the Animate store or CDJapan, you'll notice that they're listed as "Hetalia World Series". Also, the disc numbers reverted back to 1, 2, 3, 4 rather than 9, 10, 11, 12.

That's all I know, though.

Well, maybe they did it, for differenciate the previous seasons (like Naruto / Naruto Shippuuden) or maybe (i hope not) they had another legal problem (¿?)

Maybe they'll be focusing more on other points in history. Because if they're done with WW2 then Axis Powers doesn't make as much sense. Although it's not like they focused entirely on WW2 before... so I guess I'm just making stuff up.

If this is the end of 'Hetalia: Axis Powers' and the start of a new 'series' per say, then perhaps they'll bring in all the nations that we haven't seen yet.

I've heard that it's supposed to start on March 15, but that could easily be wrong. xD Deadlines, meh.

Anyway the reason they probably changed the name is because they realized the manga strays away from the 'main' story with all their silliness and awesome, so the segments arent about the Axis Powers, but the rest of the world. They couldnt change the name in the middle of the second season, now could they :3

They've finished most of the WWII segments anyway, haven't they? That could be another reason for the name change.
