hetalia | Ohayocon meetup and a roleplaying proposal!

YEAH. SO. OHAYOCON. IS OFFICIALLY A WEEK AWAY. I looked through the tags and didn't see an LJ Hetalia meetup for the con so I hope this is okay?

This will be my first Ohayocon, let alone my first time stepping in the state of Ohio. So I don't really know where to meet up, obviously, but you can probably spy me if you're there because I will be a whack Poland running around with a unicorn, a pink pony, and a Polish flag. The Hetalia photoshoot is at one on Saturday at the middle Atrium Stairs, but since I only have three days to mingle, would anybody want to meet up on Friday morning? Hetalia cosplayers who LJ are cooler than mere Hetalia cosplayers, ~~says me,~~ and I'd really like company since it'll be the first con in a while that I'll be floating around like a leaf in the wind.

Also I was wondering if anybody would be wanting a Hetalia roleplay set in the early twentieth century? It'd be more serious than most Hetalia gaming because it'd be set in the 1900-1945 period, but me and a few others are interested in making a game like this. I know a lot of people seem to have an issue with the time period, so I have plans to make it a locked game. Right now there's my Korea, a wonderful Hong Kong, and a Taiwan that'll rock your socks, so we'd KILL for a Japan. But, uh, yeah. We're all Asian nation roleplayers so I'd like to know if any other roleplayers would be interested because more variety, please.

Basically: LJ RP, historically inspired roleplay, RESEARCH, epic srsness, and an app that may seem long but ensures you play the character specifically in the twentieth century mindframe.

Anyways, I would be interested in your roleplay if you decided to make one~ It sounds interesting, and I'm always looking for somewhere to actually roleplay. Seems like alot of the Hetalia roleplay communities or fourms get spots filled rather quickly D: I usually roleplay as France or America :3 And I have a few friends that might be interested in this as well~

How do you feel about research and filling out long applications? xD;; What I want to do would be historically based, so like roleplay based on events that happened and Hetaliafying them. So they wouldn't be like history in the sense that's exactly how it goes -- perhaps in the background of the scheme of things -- but more like inspired in and of events.

I wouldn't mind~ I'm interested in how everything would play out by Hetaliafying events and things. Ive done a few history based roleplays before and Hetaliafied them up. They turn out really interesting, and I would love to see how other characters would play events out.

Awesomesauce. I have a comm set up,

inthemidstofwar, but I'll probably be changing things around since initial thoughts don't usually end up going too well and I have to pimp this out like crazy to get enough interest stirred up first.

If you have any thoughts to give the game more direction, I'd love to hear them since I'm still playing with the idea and figuring out what I want to do. I really want something low pressure which lets everybody expand and do what they want to do rather than making a plot driven game that marathons through. :)

Oh this already looks good~ I really like the time line for events for this roleplay. It's not set at a really specific time period (like a specific date) so the characters have more freedom, and maybe roleplay out some interesting events in History that someone would like to play out. (if that makes sense, I babble I'm sorry xD )

Oh I don't think you are failing,The rules are straight to the point, easy to understand. And The application looks good. I think its a good length.

Unfortunately, I still have to stay in school until noon, then it takes about 2 hours to drive down there from where I live, so if it's in the morning I will not be able to attend.
I'm not cosplaying (couldn't get my Estonia done in time fffff) but my friend that I'm going with is cosplaying as Belarus ~

Ahh, well if you're going to be there later afternoon or whenever, I'm up for meeting. I'd love to meet more Hetalia fans! :D

I really do hope to see some of Hetalia, though! If not, merch and art for me.
