Hello Hetalia Fans! It's that time again. I'm here with two new items on the website, and an event update: KARAOKE!

KARAOKE!

I'm incredibly sorry I never made the New Years post as I'd originally promised. Circumstances popped up at the last minute that prevented me from even being in Chicago at the right time. I do, however, want to make it up to everyone, and seeing as how we have discovered a wonderful Karaoke bar, I can think of no better party than a Hetalia-themed Karaoke party!

Perks?
*full bar available; underage people are welcome, so long as they realize there will be drinking happening.
*private rooms, with a small cover charge depending on how many people show up and how long we rent the room for. I cannot see this charge being above $10, and will most likely be less.
*light up tambourines, because they're just that cool

When?
Well, we've got two options, depending on what is best for everyone.
Sooner - Saturday, January 23rd, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Later - Saturday, February 27th, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Basically I just need to know if the sooner option will work for those who are RSVPing, or if you prefer me to make the reservation later in February. Keep in mind that if you say you're coming, you really do need to come, as I have to make a reservation with my credit card and the room size and price is based on how many people are estimated in attendance. Please do not say you're coming and then not show up, as that's super poor form to everyone involved.

Costumes?
Yes please! Anything you like Hetalia-related.

Please comment to this post with whether or not you're interested in coming, and which day you prefer. Once I hear from a sufficient amount of people, I'll make the reservation and we'll go from there.

I'm hoping we can resolve it too, as I'm going to be in Chicago on the 20th and I need to know if I should extend my trip. I do prefer January. :)

I'm definitely interested in the karaoke thing.

However, I've never been to a karaoke bar, so I kinda have a dumb question... What does the $10 or so cover? Is it just how much it costs to get in, or does that include the room and songs and all?

I just need to figure out the cost of how to get there and all before I commit.

Well, you rent the room, and the room comes with the machine. Depending on how many people come, determines what size of room would fit everyone comfortably. Small rooms are 25 an hour, large tooms are 35 an hour. We rent a large room for two hours, that's 70 dollars. 7 people come, it's 10 dollars a person.

Doesn't include any drinks or food, though. Hope that explains.

Either day works for me but it seems that the 23rd works best for you so I'm okay with that date. I'll go but I won't sing. It's too embarrassing. *wibble* I'll probably need to stay in the city too since I'm coming from the suburbs and I don't wanna drive home late and inebriated. plus we can do other fun stuff when the kiddies go home. ;)

We actually don't live in the city, we live in Indiana, about 45 minutes away. I'm totally willing to find other places to hang out, though, if we need to sober up, and/or possibly having a DD.
