Hello, everybody.

Could someone please explain to me what the links say (my Japanese is almost zilch, sorry)? It says something about August 15, drama CD, trading card, 3000. Does this just talk about those drama CDs I've been reading earlier? Also, the links to Frontier Works and Animate TV makes me rather excited. ^^; (Just the general gist without direct translation will be awesome.)

Thank you so much!

Things on sale August 15:
* drama CD ~prologue~
* metal SD character charms
* memo book
* trading cards

They will be on sale at animate stores.

Looks like the manga publication was a hit~

metal SD character charms

Ughhhh Do want <3333~~

Nope, neither animate nor Frontier Works' involvement has anything to do with an anime production. Animate will be selling the character goods in their stores and Frontier Works will be selling the drama CD at their comiket booth.

But with hetalia's popularity, maybe there will be an anime one day~... I think Azumanga Daioh was a 4panel comic, so there's an example of how such an anime could work.

The only problem with such an anime production would be the wank. :/ There's already a substantial amount of haters on 2chan, I hate to think how they'll take to an anime.

I'd really like to see a non-dating sim game out of it, though. The 'demo' the author made was just so much crack.

There'd probably be a lot more love than wank~. Is there anything 2chan doesn't hate? XD; (ah, the joy of anonymous message boards~) In the end, fans' support will determine an anime's creation and then will be the one who watch it~

But yeah, more hetalia games would be even better~. Maybe something like a customized "Risk" game with the warring countries... ヽ( ´¬`)ノ

...that's true. XD I remember how the preorders piled so high that Amazon was sold out on the first day (I should know, I got their 'sorry, we're out' email), though maybe they didn't print a lot of it.

What I really want is like a Civilization IV mod with a Hetalia basis. You don't even have to change most of the units, just add leaders, traits and diplomatic options and we're set! (If you don't know the Civ series, it's a lot like Risk, but with more building stuff.) Failing that, I'd like a 'human AU' in the Cold War's Berlin. But that has even less chances of being made. XD

I think it sold a lot better than people were expecting (sold out on Amazon?! @A@ uaa), so the merchandise is starting to pour in for a reaction. According to this (http://www.fwinc.co.jp/join/titles/hetalia.php), there are 2 million copies in print?! Impressive numbers for a comic that you can basically read most of the contents of for free on the author's website.

But it's nice to see the sudden hetalia boom ★ When I bought my copy it was almost sold out, too... and the store had cute life-size cardboard cutouts of italy and posters and etc~~ they also gave me like 2 dozen pieces of candy with the purchase of the book...uaa this comment is straying

A Civilization mod would be beautiful too ;3; Or something like a full battle simulator like Age of Empires... with a thousand tiny identical italys screaming and fleeing from battle in unison... (my mind is wandering agian..)

2 million!? Wow. O_o I know the fandom's large and growing fast, but I didn't think it's that large. Regarding content, you know, it's odd. The book doesn't have a lot of new stuff in it---a redrawn introduction, popular chapters, a few new strips and that's it. But for some reason I never felt less than satisfied and even squeed on seeing my favourite strips in print form. I DON'T KNOW WHY.

At least I have a plan for the next The Sims game. XD A town full of Hetalia characters! Though the only problem with that would be the fact that Sims 3 characters grow up and die...and you know, whenever I play Civ or Total War now, I can't resist naming myself after the 'name' of whatever nation I'm playing. XD

But hey, there's a card game. Pity I'm not in Japan.

Heheh, the only problem I can see with an anime is the influx of insane fanthings. The Hetalia fandom is a nice, sane place from what I've seen, and with all the prettyboys it's perfect bait to become something, er, not-as-sane. I'd hate to see that happen 8|

Yeah, I worried about that too.Especially since most of us (I think?) were introduced to this through the /cm/ board just when summer started.

(I have to admit I got angry everytime someone asked 'whats this lulz')
