Official Polish version of Hetalia manga

My publisher friend finally finished Polish version of Axis Powers Hetalia and it's going to book shops tommorow. If you are interested I can write a short review of it :)
I hope that we wont have situations like in Korea, actually thanks to Hollywood movies, like "Enigma" or "Defiance" we got used to strange image of our country in WWII so I don't expect bigger affair with APH even if our WWII history isn't something funny.

Anyway, I think that if it wont have problems here, it wont have them anywhere else. What do you think about publishing it in your country?

I'm of the opinion that a Canadian release is likely...it's getting huge love here, and what with our open-mindedness (and amazingly accurate self-image lol) Hetalia will hopefully be in mapletastic bookstores someday~

Are there a lot of manga companies that release exclusively in Canada? I was under the impression that at least a huge majority of manga, if not all, was jointly released in Canada and America.

Not any that are as well-known, but I'm under the impression that there are divisions, like Viz Canada or something? They do a lot of anime dubbing in Vancouver anyhow. All I know is, nothing like political controversy should be holding Hetalia back here...

Viz does do dubbing in Vancouver, at Ocean Group, but that's not for exclusively Canadian releases (Ocean Group dubs lots of mainstream titles, like Gundam and Inuyasha). That's just where the dubbing studio is. I just have never heard of Viz releasing something in one country but not the other.

As for controversy, I'm under the impression that Canada's had some minor controversy over manga as well. Although nothing that would hold back a Hetalia license.

Yeah, it's always a joint thing with Alfred (that, or just making a base in us *shakes fist*) Makes sense tho~ And yeah, still hopeful for Hetalia, anywhere, in english book form.

If it did I would trek across the border to get it! *wants to hold the comic in her hands*
