England Cosplay + Any Londoners?

Hey,

Me and my friends cosplayed here the other day (just for fun) and we took some pictures! I cosplayed as England/Arthur Kirkland :D Thought I'd share some of the pics... (and yes, alcohol was involved - drunk!Iggy = oh, so charming!) I have so many pictures! This post only contains some of them... I guess it's still image heavy...

Oh, and then I have a little request/question-thingy to ask. I'm moving to (just outside) London October 18. and I'm staying there for 9 months... I know nobody in London (and near by), and since I'm afraid to get lonely I guess I'm looking for other English Hetalia people - you know to talk to, and maybe to tell me about conventions etc in the area... ? >///<

Hello! Welcome in advance! Are you coming from NY? Or is that a clever ruse?? Again, I don't live near London; I'm about a 1:40 train ride away but know main London pretty well. If you don't end up finding anyone closer, I'd be happy to bring some mates and show you round. I agree that you should come to the London Expo if you can! It's pretty small compared to equally notable US cons, and it's just a giant overpriced dealers room with a stage but most fun goes on outside. Myself and friends will be there anyway, so if you do happen to make it let me know!! I'd be interested to see what you make of your time in London as I'm intending to spend some time in the States next year. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here and let me know if you ever travel down south!

You want to spend some time in America? I was there this summer, visiting my friend's host family (she lived there for a year) - I really liked it! I was in St Louis, Missouri. Where do you plan to go?

People are talking about arranging a cardiff meet sometime, and another Hyde Park picnic on the other side of Expo. ^___^ There's a huge Hetalia group going in October (if you look on the forum on the site that you've already been given you'll see it there), and I suspect that there will be again in May. If you keep an eye on that site and cosplayisland.com you should see any meets that are coming up.

I'm the opposite. ^^ I live in London but I'm going to be moving to Coventry for a few months. There is the London Expo in October though, like the poster above mentioned. You'll probably find lots of Hetalia people there!

I live near London, and there's always the London Expo, which happens on October 24th and 25th. There's a second one in May as well. I'd be at the October one, but I'm going to Greece. XD

I see in a comment you left to someone else you're going to be living in Richmond. That comes under Surrey, I live in Surrey XD Though to Richmond from me in Epsom is about a 45 minute train ride.

It takes me about 30-45 mins to get to Richmond from central. ^^o I don't know that area very well, but i've been two or three times. ^^
