( Alfred pressed his lips together and tried to think; could he climb up without being noticed? )

Rating: PG (well, Turkey's got quite a mouth on him, so.)
Pairing: More of a setup to Turkey/Greece (Axis Powers Hetalia)
Warnings: None, really.
Summary: It rained on the day Greece’s mother died.
Author Notes: So the idea of the Greek gods having something to do with Heracles wouldn’t leave me alone. So this was spun out of that. Of course, Turkey had to shove himself in there as well. Because he’s Turkey.
I named Greece’s mother ‘Helen’ since she’s basically Hellenic Greece. I think this is mainly historically accurate, although it wasn’t really the point as I was writing it. Just how maybe Heracles became ’Greece’ and met Turkey for the first time. (Right after the fall of Constantinople.)
( He smelled her before the cool hand touched his shoulder. Flowers, fruits -- all the scents of spring and sunlight. Of course. It wasn’t yet winter in the world. She would have smelled differently otherwise. )
