This totally isn't my first posting to a community, no way.

I appreciate if I sounded like an intolerant dickhead. xD
But like... hmmm... I need to rephrase that, I feel.
What I mean is... the typical yaoi fangirl who hates any female characters in a series, and immediately reads too deeply into things. The great thing about Hetalia is that Hidekaz playfully provides some risque stuff when it comes to the gay stuff like 'vital regions', or when France practically tries to rape every other character. xD
What I fear are the kinds of fans who twist things to suit themselves, including butchering an existing character, or quoting a specific line or action as justification of their ship as opposed to looking in a book, or indeed looking on Wiki, because one look into history is pretty much a justification for any ship. Hahaha. xDDD

I hope I'm making some kind of sense.

Basically, if new people come and they get interested in the joy that is learning history the fun way, then kudos, that's awesome. If we get an influx of people using fanart in their signatures on Gaia and on their myspaces and such... not so much. :'D

Ah, I think I understand now. Actually, I agree. I think in order to write or draw a Hetalia character as "in character", you really do need to consider canon as not only the manga but also history itself!

Anyway, I hope that the new fans won't be rabid fangirls either... :D

Word to this, too. You're making perfect sense. |D
