historical in-joke? The Plantagenets were the ruling family in England before it died out and got replaced by the Tudors.. which gave us Henry VIII with his 6 marriages & dissolving the Church to create the Church of England etc etc... I think Arthur got terribly stressed with Henry's shenanigans.
At least he liked Henry's daughter Bess.
