2. Lock said posts.

I'm a little worried though since, well, nobody likes their stuff being shot down. This is the part of modding that I'm not specially happy about carrying out. I hope the instructions will help prevent this since, yeah, when someone posts something on LJ, they expect to come back a while later and find some fun comments, not find their post deleted if you know what I mean.

I seriously sympathize, I just have to enforce those rules.

Good job doing your... job. When people join/post to a community it's their responsibility to read the rules and if they don't then... >.> *shrug* I always read rules before posting mostly because I'm paranoid of doing something stupid like that lawl

I'm torn between wanting to keep things tidy and wanting to reassure people that I'm not some sort of sniper mod, waiting to shoot down their posts, as quite honestly NO one enjoys that overwhelming feeling of paranoia.



Frankly, the only case where I would delete anything right off the bat are on misformatted mature posts. Other than that, I'm pretty lenient, and I found the community is quite civile and nice (hence why I LOVE EVERYONE in it), so I wouldn't be worried about them.

Also this is TOTALLY RANDOM but I was looking at the profile the other day and
or when you do an icon post, keep your "preview" images to a minimum of 3 preview pics.

I think most people can figure out what you meant, but you might want to change "minimum" to "maximum" just in case. XD;; Sorriiii~
