Fanart & short drama CD translation

Hey gaiz! First-time poster, long-time lurker here.

Today on November 9th it has been exactly 19 years since Gilbert kicked down the Berlin Wall in his usual awesome fashion and moved in with Ludwig again. I will use this date as an excuse for the abnormally high amount of Prussia in the following fanart batch.

Artist: me
Characters: Prussia, Germany, Russia, UK, USA, Rome, Germania, France, Holy Roman Empire, South & North Italy
Rating: totally worksafe
Warnings: not even for France!
Summary: five fanarts from the last two-ish weeks

Prussia may be older, but he manages to be obnoxious immature awesome no matter the era. (yes, that is hair dye. xD)

No fanart post is complete without a Russia tribute, so here he is. ♥

US and UK quoting a dialogue from Oscar Wilde's "Woman of No Importance", slightly Hetalia-fied.

This is really random and not worth a long-winded explanation, but maybe somebody here enjoys Prussia/Germany wearing ridiculous clothes. (Edit: Okay, if you DO want a long-winded explanation, go here. ;-))

The initial "married couple" and some of their many children, inspired by Germania's profile turning up on Kitayume last week. ROME HAS HIM SO WHIPPED, HAHAHA.

Also - and I hope I haven't stepped on anybody's plans with this - I badly translated track #5 of the recently released drama CD, starring the Axis plus UK and France. It can be found here~.

Rome and Germania look like Aragorn and Legolas. =D

And that's one really nice fanart batch. Loved the UK/USA one as well; Oscar Wilde FTW. <3

I cannot BEGIN to tell you how awesome these are. Just--everything. Your PRUSSIA. And your Oscar Wilde remix. And the SHEER CONCENTRATED AWESOME of that last picture (the characterization! the facial expressions! the costumes! the shading!). In short, I adore you madly and I would love it if you drew more. Like, now. *___________*

Ah! She posts! :D :D

So I've commented on most of these before but everything I loved about them before I still love now and HOMG TIMELESS IMMATURE PRUSSIA TAUNTING IS LOVE. He goes through so many image changes and yet always manages to look so hip. Well played, Prussia. XD

I think you should give the long-winded Sandmännchen explanation, or at least link to something about it. Cultural history is just as informative as the political kind (and hilarious to boot).
ext_119701: (Rock the fuck out)

Omg I saw some of those on DA, but I didn't comment because I'm a loser. ;; I love the one with Rome and Germania though. Really I love them all. ♥

On a different more relevant note. These are super hilarious-adorable. That is all. At ease soldier.

XDDDD You posted the Elf Prussia pic LOLOLOL
Btw, loving the rest of the art '3' Prussia is freaking annoying/adorable in all of them LOLOLOL

[identity profile] meltedpeep.livejournal.com 2008-11-09 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Yaay. (Seriously, if I'm going to be wasting my life away on this series, I ought to at least be able to tell myself it's a learning experience. That's not so bad, right? Right?)

Your wish is my command! :D

Ahahahahaaah, France. Poor thing. And I bet the more superstitious nation-tans are flipping out over this current nonsense like nobody's business! Periodically someone's like, "hay guys, I think this might be a reces--" and America comes in all "DON'T SAY IT DON'T SAY IT DON'T SAY THE R-WORD WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU OMG D:" while UK seeks counsel with his mythical friends and Germany starts quietly stashing money away in secret cupboards around the house.

Actually Legolas was a promiscuous sod, since he also managed to spawn Sweden, Denmark, Finland (probably Iceland following that pattern), and England. METHINKS HE LIKED TO GET AROUND A LOT.

HOLY SHIT, YOUR WORK IS THE MOST FABULOUS WORK EVER. YOUR PRUSSIA JUST MAKES MY HEART BLEED IN JOY.
THANK YOU.
