Dressing Room

Hey, everyone~.

So, warplanes and I were thinking of joining up the APH dressing room and all, but then we realized that it was on temporary closed membership and didn't allow duplicates.

Long story short, we were possibly interested in opening a Hetalia dressing room that would allow duplicates and had open membership, but we wanted to hear everyone's opinions first - didn't want to jump the gun and all that, or possibly cause problems with anyone.

So, please vote in the poll, and if you have a more detailed opinion, feel free to elaborate in the comments. Thank you!

I'm still not sure what a "Dressing Room" community is. I've seen them crop up for most every fandom, though.

Oh, dressing rooms are basically like rp communities, except it's (normally) open membership - no apps or activity requirements or anything. It's a fun way to RP without too many restrictions. Normally crazy AU's pop up, which can be lulz.

What I like to use them for is testing out characters before apping them in an actual rp comm.

Errm, as far as I know, the community is duplicate-friendly and you just need mod-approval.

In my opinion, the fact that it even needs mod-approval is a bit silly. What I read it seemed like you needed a valid reason to fit your duplicate in, rather than the usual "UNIVERSES COLLIDE" thing most DRs do. And it's also currently closed to new membership, and from what I can see it doesn't give any hints to reopening any time soon.

Right now, it's closed again do to issues current players brought up. The mods are watching it and are going to decide whether or not it will be open again in the (hopefully near) future.

I thought it was still open and duplicate-friendly? I know the comm profile hasn't been changed, but I think my sister joined as Ukraine a few days ago...we also received two more UKs, another US, and another France recently. There isn't anything wrong with coming up with your own game if you wanted to, though.

I know that the two UKs and US were accepted before the closing, and was just informed by the mod that the second (delightfully more pervy) France was also accepted before them. So from what I gathered in that exchange, it's still closed, but she will be reviewing who wants in.

As player at aphdressingroom for the past number of months, I offered input on how to return it to normal DR status, and have waited, and while I'm still hoping it's going to turn back into how a DR should be, I don't really see it happening... which is very sad. I had been thinking of making a DR, too! :D So I'm with you/you have my support/any help you might want from another party. ♥

I think this is a great idea~ My sister's been wanting to join aphdressingroom for a while, but couldn't because she couldn't think of a free character that she wants to be. And I love APHDR the way it is, so a new one opening up to be an open DR would be good.

GOD- OK, as the Mod for aphdressingroom the community is open to duplicates. There were several issues involved with the game being moderated because of the sudden influx in original characters.

And there were several issues with the current players discussing the state of the game.

I'm sorry if we got our facts wrong - we were just basing this off of the info we got on the profile.

Also - this isn't meant as any sort of an attack, or as a "your game just isn't good enough". We just saw an opportunity to provide something that wasn't there, you know?
