Simple Character Profiles Part 1 is up!

It's all in Japanese, so I will try to translate some sooner or later. Right now the Allied Forces' characters' profiles are missing, but we have a lot of the new characters--like Iceland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc!

Hahaha, Canada is the only one with a "san" appended to the end of his name. I find that retardedly cute ;w;

Well, I... think he's actually one of the very few who uses honorifics in his own speech. I suppose it would only be polite to return the favour :O!

But, well, in one of the comics, UK mistakes Canada for America, and the only thing that manages to tip him off otherwise is the fact that Canada calls him "Igirisusan"
"...'san'? ...You're not America!"

I always knew that Canada's usage of honorific speech was used as a main point to distinguish him from America, but pffft. Geez, UK, you're so far removed on your island there... XD Where is that comic, anyway? I'd totally love to read it~ \o/

Long shot, but it might have to do with honourifics = polite, and politeness being a Canadian stereotype :P

Mmmyeah, but an honourific appended to a name indicates politeness on the part of the speaker, not the person being referred/spoken to? |D;a

BUT YES Canadians are so stereotypically polite XD (to the point of being accused of apologizing for every little thing!) ♥
