OH GOD I SHOULD BE DOING HOMEWORK.

Artist: [livejournal.com profile] meltedpeep
Character(s) or Pairing(s): Germany, Turkey
Rating: PG-13ish?
Warnings: Dirty language! >:O
Summary: So, uh, truth be told, I more or less avoided Hetalia for a good while, mainly because I love my crazy history and was worried all the slash would overshadow that and somehow make it less lulzy for me. And then I found out that Turkey was a gigantic stud in a silly hat.

...Damnit, I'm shallow.

Turkey keeps gradually moving his stuff over to Germany's place, to the point that they're now practically roommates (ironically enough, Germany is the liberal one). They have their fair share of squabbles, but so far it's worked out alright since Germany's come a long way in controlling his temper. Plus Turkey makes delicious food. :D

Mmm, döner.

...I'm so sorry if I've offended everyone everywhere. XD

I was wondering if someone would ever touch on Germany and Turkey's current relationship. But man, there is döner EVERYWHERE there. It's like frikkin' Starbucks or something. You walk through German streets and just see POLES OF MEAT.

And then I found out that Turkey was a gigantic stud in a silly hat. I know, right. I knooooow.

AHAHA, this was ace by the way. OM NOM NOM NOM

....

..........

.....SO HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM ANTHROPOMORPHIC COUNTRIES. I. I didn't even realize, but now that I do, it -- it so. It's so meant to be. MEANING, HELLO.

...."Poles of meat"

...I...no. It's too easy. I can't.

[identity profile] bolshevists.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
....w-well. Those Germans, you know.

[identity profile] atiko.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 09:06 am (UTC)(link)
ZOMG, YOU REALLY DID IT. *lols*

Turkey can totally blackmail its way into the EU by threatening to take all döner away. D= and then Germany will have a nervous breakdown

[identity profile] picnicbird.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 01:16 pm (UTC)(link)
There is seriously so much potential for both of these guys in general -- not to mention the influx of Turkish migrant workers in Germany, the consequent 'GRRR GET OUT OF HERE' and -- yes.

[identity profile] t3nsa1.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 01:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehe That is awesome!

[identity profile] cookie-faerie.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 02:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh boy, do I. XD

[identity profile] srs99d-s2am.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 04:14 pm (UTC)(link)
No words for how happy that made me. And it's so true. SOMEBODY FINALLY DID IT. (And I hear you on the "mmm, döner" - it's fast food number one for a reason.)

Also, yay manly men with destructive temper! <3

[identity profile] steampuppet.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Brilliant XD I was so going to draw some Turkey and Germany stuff (like the mosque they are now building in Cologne), but yours is even better...
We need more of them, definately!

[identity profile] atiko.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
*rubs hands* Well I can't suffer from Hetalitis all on my own now can I? :D

(btw, did you know döner isn't even originally from Turkey, but a dish Turks
invented AFTER coming to Germany? Like... "guys, your food is made of fail. we'll help you out". So unless it was re-exported back to Turkey, people there don't even know it. xD)

[identity profile] redstars.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
That was something I didn't think I'd ever hear. xD

[identity profile] atiko.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 08:29 pm (UTC)(link)

That's like Germany loving and religiously watching "Dinner For One" every year while the UK's just like "What? :D"

*hand twitches uncontrollably towards pencil*
Nnnnnnooooo... I mustn't... nonoNOOOO I HATE YOU!

[identity profile] sugaryinsanity.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] atiko.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] sei-kou-ki.livejournal.com 2008-10-28 09:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Clearly, we've just been Internet magnets charged with opposite polarities without knowing it THIS ENTIRE TIME. ... Or something equally logical.

GLAD TO SEE YOU ARE WELL. Drawing grumpy Germans and Turks in silly hats.

[identity profile] shilian0.livejournal.com 2008-10-30 06:28 am (UTC)(link)

I ... have to agree with Germany. These Turkish hip-hoppers annoy me so much. XD

Other than that, love that. It's so true. :D

[identity profile] naoko-k.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
toooo realistic to be true ;o;

[identity profile] relker.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, yes it does.

There is a very decided lack of döner in America.
