[FANSTUFF] Sketchdump, Fancomic, LJ Flag Divider, Icons x 6
Author/Artist: moi
Character(s) or Pairing(s): Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Finland, Russia, America, Chibitalia, Lithuania
Rating: G
Warnings: squeaky clean
Summary: assortment of fanstuff
First Hetalia post, yay~ Enjoy!

(Pretty sure I did the tags correctly...) Onwards!

I don't think I could make him more effeminate if I tried :'D *cough* Anyway, on the left we have Liet in a Żupan, traditional Polish garb of the nobility, also worn by nobles of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Pretty sure the sleeves aren't historically accurate, I embellished them a little.

Yup, crossed the pond with my youth group two years ago to visit an international monastery in France. No joke-- these two French boys my age acted like I was some exotic animal; we attempted conversation once and then whenever they saw me they'd point and stare in bewilderment. ...Awkward. Later on we visited Geneva as well since we were staying near the Swiss border and I caught a nasty bug my last day. I was out from school for the better part of a week!

I love his facial expressions, attempting to draw his characteristic smirk. Y'know, with characters like Poland who have no shine in their eyes, only pupils, for some reason you have to be careful not to make them look sinister when you're drawing them.

Chibitalia

(Chibi = me, post-haircut. Stupid little flippy thing on my head that refuses to be tamed included!) Switzerland was cool, I got to speak French, walk around hopelessly lost in a gorgeous city in the rain for hours, great chocolate (even in the youth hostel vending machine!), clock shops EVERYWHERE, and not to mention banks. Fun fun.
(Thank you
gabriela_gosden for correcting my French!) He's saying, "Someone please remove this girl from my arm... soon would be good... anyone?!" Vash was my favorite character when I was first getting into Hetalia. He kicks butt.

And now for those icons~ If you're snagging any, credit would be appreciated, but not required. :3

I had a blast, if you ask me interacting with the natives while abroad is just part of the fun xD Besides French the mix of youth groups/schools visiting the monastery--"Taizé," by the way, which is near Cluny-- that week included mostly Portuguese & German, and a few others from assorted countries (like us! 8D). It was interesting to learn several Europeans' perspective of American politics, haha... And the Portuguese custom of a greeting kiss when introduced produced considerable confusion on both sides xD;;
Even though I wasn't eager to leave, I never thought I'd be so happy to set foot on American soil!

I these though! I have to agree with America you should just stay here. I mean we've got uh....Memphis! Who needs other cultures when we have the home of Elvis!
