[Links] Germany/N. Italy fic/art exchange and art contest!

Hi, everybody! I'm the mod of [livejournal.com profile] gertalia (a shipping comm for Germany/N. Italy), and I wanted to let you know about some fun stuff going on right now.

The Germany/N. Italy Summer fic and art exchange is now open for sign ups! Details are here.

If that's not your thing, we also need a better layout and profile image for our community. There's a contest (with prizes!) going on here.

I wanted to ask a question before signing up first.

The request doesn't necessarily have to involve Germany and Italy, does it?

Well, it's a Gertalia exchange so, yes. But if you wanted to request a fic just about N. Italy or just about Germany, that's fine. Chibitalia/HRE is acceptable, too.

That's totally fine :) I'm glad you asked, because it made me realize that 1) it might have helped to specify that and 2) I didn't mention that Chibitalia and HRE were acceptable too. :D

You fill out the form, I give it to another person who is participating and they draw or write what you want. We then post your gift to the community, and when all of the arts and fics are up, we reveal who did what. :)

Ooooh, this sounds like such a cute idea 8D

I may sign up, but I am going to a summer camp starting on July 19th. I could most likely get a fic/art done by then, but I wouldn't be there for the posting date. Would it be possible to, say, give the fic/art to someone else to give to my hypothetical assigned person? Like, a middleman? Since I wouldn't be there for the due date or posting date.

If this isn't possible, then that's fine. XD
