I was originally going to use the original lines, but I highly doubt America would actually use his name. Also, I was going to use "Dame you America." But I thought that that'd be too offensive.

Summary: After hearing about Paquiao's current match, I thought I'd express some Noypi pride by giving tidbits about the country *shrug* So, I thought I'd do so by using the Philippine-tan I made in nationslash  ages ago. Click the link to know more.



ROUND ONE!

Apparently, there are still countries that take the Philippines for granted. Now, we don't have the best fighters in the world, but looks can be deceiving. Philippine-tan is such a fanboy, all worried about his hero, America XDD
Only thing I hate about the matches? The announcers are so harsh D:<

EDIT: I only found out that Paquiao fought an Englishman. I beg forgiveness for my ignorance! IT'S OBVIOUS I DON'T PAY ATTENTION 8,D

WHA DAT?


To explain, there originally wasn't an English word for Kalabaw, but foreigners had such a hard time pronouncing it, they would call them Carabao instead. A Kalabaw is actually a Philippine water buffalo from what I know.

What does a Kalabaw look like? The Kalabaw on top is based off a famous mascot in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, see him here and here (upper left).

There aren't really any notable relations between Thailand and the Phils, except they're both Malay countries. They have very similar day-to-day cultures so it's easy to confuse a picture of one city from the other.

It'd be cool to see a Thai boxer against a Pinoy boxer. But my money's kinda on the Thai ^^, DON'T KILL ME! D,:

The Phils, is a bit of a hypocrite =3= Homosexuality is widely accepted in the here, but gay marriage is still a nono because we live in a Catholic dominant country. But although he fanboys over almost all countries, he still think gays are . . .  well . . . queer o3o


A better picture of Philippine-tan. He'd most likely be younger than America, but older than, say, Latvia? Probably 17 or 18 in appearance.
I feel so bad drawing him for some reason. SO to make myself feel better, I drew SHOTA!Philippines next >8D


More or less, in the middle of the colonial-era, the Philippines accepted the Spaniards a bit more. So, yeah, he was very shota then >8D
