[drama cd translation]

Long-time lurker, first time poster, the name's Vava! :D

Anyways WOW okay so I just spent like my entire evening translating this with MUCH vocabulary help from Japanese native [livejournal.com profile] robo_subaru .  It's the translation (and romanization) of the first track of the Hetalia drama CD.  I thought it would be pretty cool for those who can't speak Japanese! I sure learned a lot of useless Japanese words.

It was actually very difficult for us to tell who's who in a certain part of the track, so if you see anything that you absolutely know is WRONG WRONG WRONG, please do tell. XD We mostly had troubles telling Austria and Japan's voices apart, I think.

I know some things aren't exact translations, but I tried to make them sound less awkward in English.

Enjoy!

Narrator: MEETING OF THE WORLD 1.  Koko wa boukoku kokkaigijidou, kaigishitsu.
"Meeting of the world, 1.  This is the certain countries' National Parliament Building's Meeting Room."

Germany: Omaera, seishuku ni shi....
"You guys, please be quie--"

America: Yoshi! Korekara sekai kaigi wo hajimeru zo! Sekai no mondai wa oretachi de kaiketsu shite ikou ja nai ka?
"The world meeting is starting now~!  Shall we solve the problems of the world?"

Germany: "Oi!"
"Hey!"

Speaking of "HERO", the Hollywood movie titled "fdsgdf!!!" that I made this year will be released at the same time ALL OVER THE WORLD! Awww, this is the masterpiece that EVERYONE--or maybe, just me--cried at!  The highlight of the movie is the scene where the protagonist's girlfriend Jenny crushed 5 bulldozers with her hand...."

UK: Ii kara hayaku yare.  Baka.
"Hurry up and get on with it already, idiot."

America: OKAY!! Sore jaa sekai kaigi, ima kara hajimeyou ka!

France: Datte naa, omaera to onaji iken nante SENSE warui shi naa.  Ore Furansu wa, omaera to chigatte shinshiteki nanda yo.
"Because, you know, my sense is that it's lame to have the same opinions as you guys.  I, France, differ with you two because I am gentlemanly."

France: Noon? Kuru kai? Oniisan ukete tatsu yo?

All: Hetalia!

Translator's Notes:
-We have no idea what the name of America's amazing blockbuster movie is called.  We tried, we tried. ._.

-Japan's "Also, give me back some things" is probably in reference to Sakhalin Island, an island just north of Hokkaidou that Russia and Japan are constantly bickering over. Whose is it?!

-The joke about America being the only one who cried at the movie had to be changed a little bit for it to make sense in English. Sorry.

-Is that French or something? "Noo-on"? WHY YES IT IS!

Haha, entertainment at its finest.

Edit: SUDDEN REALIZATION WOAH.  This drama cd...is modern! They're talking about global warming and Sakhalin Island and worldwide simultaneous movie release...and they're not separated by powers! Call me a dork for not noticing this 'til now. XDDD
