Hetalia Volumes 4 and 5 Coming Over to NA in Holiday 2013!

After RightStuf had acquired to re-release Hetalia Volumes 1-3 from Tokyopop, we now finally get Volumes 4 and 5!

In RightStuf's AnimeEXPO announcements, at least on their website that I see, when I clicked on the arrows to browse through, I see this here:

When clicking on their PDF file, I searched up more on what they have to say about these two volumes:

That's right, on December 2013, North America will finally have the English manga of Hetalia Vol. 4 and 5. I have expected this to come out some time with the Beautiful World series. Seems like Tokyopop as well continues to do with the translations. Not only that, first pre-orders will come with eight-page colored inserts, similar to the ones who first ordered Vols. 1-3.

Merry Christmas indeed!

I'M SO EXCITED AHHHH

I looked on Rightstuf.com for a preorder webpage, but haven't found it. Guess it's not up yet. But I hope to get color versions just like I did of volume 3!

I was wondering what was going on with volumes four and five.

On the one hand, having official releases is good. I'm more than happy to support Himaruya and the series. On the other hand...

...why can't TokyoPop just die and let a decent manga company pick up the rights? *sigh* I really hate the thought of any of my money going into Stu Levy's pockets.

I am excited for this news but from my understanding when I emailed Rightstuf CEO about Vol 4 and 5, They would have to get a translator for those volumes (Maybe someone from Nozumi entertainment?) since Tokyopop is no longer in business and had to add them to the project since they had already translated volume 3 I have to agree about Stu involvement because (and this is a theory.) I believe that since Tokyopop was the original publisher of the series, maybe Stu got cozy enough with the Japanese publisher that his involvement with Hetalia was a condition of Rightstuf being able to license the manga.

I'll buy the manga when it comes out but only to put money in the creator's hands and the company's hands.
