Actually, I'm really excited about "Hetalia of the Dead" too, it's just... "A BIENTÔT"! Man, if the fandom was drowning in feels over episode 5, I'm predicting global flooding when episode 15 airs. Oh, France, sweetie... *glomps him*

Please excuse me while I fangasm. I promise to mop up the drool when I'm done. ^^;;;;

Since I can't read Japanese, I'm not sure where on Animate's site these images are located (I can't navigate that site to save my life), much less if we have dates for when these episodes will air. If anyone has more information, please let me know!

Yeah, it's from volume four of the published manga.

FYI, that post has a page missing after the one where Lisa comments, "But in the end... she was burned at the stake, right?"

The next page shows a sad-looking France stating, "Yes. Her execution was on May 30, 1431. The king abandoned her and no one lent her a hand to save her in her final moments." (The next panel shows France and Lisa from behind, looking out over the scenery.) France continues, "It's sad to see that those who have a patriotic volition like hers tend to meet tragic ends."

"That's true," Lisa agrees. "She really wasn't truly doing anything out of spite or wickedness..."

The next panel shows France spinning around and declaring, "That's enough history! Now it's time for me to share something about myself! It's a thought I always keep in mind. I believe that anyone who's toyed with by history is always reborn. They're born under normal circumstances. They laugh, they play... and even fall in love just like anyone else. In their next life, they live out a happy and peaceful life somewhere in this world. That is what I truly think."

That's when France turns to Lisa and comments that he thought God was playing a cruel joke on him when he first saw her, but he can see that she's happy, so he knows his wish was granted.

I can't tell if Studio DEEN is trying to make us happy or make us cry, considering a certain episode being animated.

They are trying to give everything they can, whatever it is.

I'm just going to collapse on the floor because of the impending feels of Joan of Arc and France.

First Buon San Valentino and now the France episode that made many a fan cry...SEASON FIVE RULES! I just wish Hima-papa was on his blog more...I miss him and having these episodes is a good thing but there was no April Fool's event this year and well fan favorite episodes or not I just wish to hear from him even if it's just a post or something. The last was in August 2012.

Still....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO A Bientot. So many dreams becoming reality. YAY.
