She does, but. It'd be kind of weird if that were Madagascar? An island nation being as excited about the ocean as she is would be kind of. . .weird even for Hetalia lol

Plus she's kind of speaking in the third person, isn't she? Which is a pretty common speech quirk as far as Japanese goes, but yeah it's mostly the island nation being super excited about the ocean that's throwing me and a friend off of it being Madagascar. It's probably a continental one without a coastline?

Yes that is a good point.

I only really stated that Seychelles mentions Madagascar, I didn't say in which context since I don't know. (I only studied Japanese for a year.)

Oh, I understood. I was just adding, she does mention Madagascar, but it isn't clear if she's speaking to her or about her. orz Boooo Himaruya don't just give us a new character and not say who it is! \;3;/ (I never formally studied haha. . . .)
