Looking for a Fanfic
Looking for a fanfic.
My friend once read a fic were England and America are in a band, and she really wants to find it again. I hope somebody can help!
Info about the fic is under the cut.
They were humans, but the fic still used their nation names (so it's "America"/"England" specifically).
My friend can't remember anything about the summary, title or author. But it's at least a few years old because she read it in maybe 2008/9. And it was definitely on FFnet.
Summary: England and America are in a band that is very popular. Japan and France are their managers.
America would always tell his interviewers on TV that he's single and not interested in anyone. England, who's secretly in love with him, gets very depressed every time he hears that America doesn't like anyone. One day, he breaks down crying on TV when America says it again (I guess it just got too much for him). He runs off and America goes to find him. Then Russia steps in to talk to America on England's behalf.
This is all she can really remember. I hope that's enough for somebody to recognise the fic. That's a very general summary, but I think it's quite unique to have a band fic where they're humans using nation names. So maybe that can help?
It was apparently quite long. 10k+ at the time she was reading it and it was not yet finished, so it could be more by now. It could be incomplete still, since she never read the ending.
