Hi! I was wondering if someone could help me find a fanfic...

I read a fanfic a while ago that a friend of mine wants to read, but I've forgotten its name.It had a follow-up fancomic though, and either the story or the fancomic's name began with G and was also the name of a song title that kind of went with it. It was a USUK fic set in an alternate universe using human names. America gave England a watch, which he dropped while crossing a street resulting in him getting killed by a car while trying to get it. America invented a time machine to go back in time to save England, but it wasn't as simple as that and he made many attempts before the end of the story. The comic kind of paralleled the story and had a different ending (or else it ended the story and just explained things-- I forgot, actually... OTL) Anyway, it was a really nice story and I can't find it anywhere, so that's why I was hoping someone had heard of it and could link me to it. Thank you! (Also, I haven't been on in awhile, so if there was a new rule added against posts like these or something, then I apologize. However, I feel this is the best place to ask.)

This beautiful! doujinshi is Stumbleine by hakuku-san! and there are two or three fanfics that were inspired by this story...

Ah, thank you so much for the detailed information and links! :D It was a wonderful story!
I haven't read it in a long time, so I mixed up the fanfic/doujinshi part. OTL And I somehow got the title wrong... (There must have been something nearby its title that my memory confused it with.) I'm really glad that so many people were able to get past all the misinformation easily and help me find the right story!
