Also, the 2011 Hetalia Bloodbath will end exactly like Rare Exports! I'm betting one shiny penny on it!

Here are the movies referenced if you wanna check some of them out!
France's movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_Lake
Finland's movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rare_Exports
The two movies on Spain's DVD:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1314363/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289380/
Macaroni Horror – I assume Himaruya is referring to this:

All the films that are inside this collection were produced in Italy. Not sure if this collection is actually available outside Japan though.
Here are the films in the Macaroni Horror collection:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109592/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080379/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071150/
If you think you recognize any of the other films in this strip or I might be mistaken on one of my references, just leave a drop in the comments! I think Himaruya might have made some up though.

Then there are the movies of Lucio Fulci (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucio_Fulci), Mario Bava (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Bava) and the 'tamer' Dario Argento (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dario_Argento) just to name 3.
People wouldn't sospet it but when Feliciano and Lovino do horror movie they really want people to run away in horror... ^_-

The Italies sure aren't kidding with their love for horror movies, it's no miracle Ludwig is terrified *lol*

He's not the only one who got arrested due to horror movies tricks... Lucio Fulci got it better though as he was accused of murdering dogs and not people... only he didn't murder them, those poor dead dogs you see in his movie were actually fake created by Carlo Rambaldi (you might have heard him as the guy who worked in Alien and E.T.)
I don't mind watching horror movies.... but I think that one is a tad over the top even for me.
In the past times, when money was low and digital trickes weren't used yet, they litterally adoured to create tricks to make horror scenes realistic.
Sometimes I think they put so many splatter scenes in their movies just so they could use tricks that would make look that scene as 'real' (though now with the digital graphic is a lot more easier to make realistic scenes).
How are German horror movies?

I have to admit to my shame that I can't even tell you what German horror movies are like. I'm such a coward with horror movies that I don't watch any at all. What's commercially popular here are German romantic comedies. Oh wait! I remember now that I read about a German vampire movie which I want to watch, I haven't gotten around to it yet. It has lesbian vampires and a dystopian, cynical world view. I think that's popular here, "people are lost and all alone in the crowd of a metropolis."

I don't mind horror that much... though maybe it's because here we get a lot of American horror movies and I don't think they're that scary. Oh, really? Apart from American movies we don't really get many foreign movies so I don't really know what's popular in other countries.
Oh, sounds like an interesting movie! I hope it'll get a chance to be translated in Italian!
