Mochi Charms - Checking Interest

So I've been thinking about it for a while, and I'd like to start making custom charms.

Metal charms would be the goal, but, as a practice run I'd really like to learn the process with some far less expensive acrylic ones first. And what's an easier start than mochi?


So here's where I need some help:

Which Mochitalia characters would all of you want to see charms of?
Selling them would depend on having stock that can sell, so I'd rather leave it up to the fandom than take a bad guess myself.

Please let me know, if you were buying them yourself, which characters you would buy!

Obviously, this isn't a preorder or anything like it, so there's absolutely no commitment.

Well, it could be, but that would kind of defeat the point of having them printed in acrylic.

My Nekotalia attempts have been pretty sad. But. If I can find a style that's actually possible for me to repeat, they're what I'd like to do for the metal charms.

Nordics FTW. I'd love to see an Oz mochi, but that would all depend on how many you'd have to get made at once (I know some printers do 25 min. or 50 min.)

It's technically 50 minimum, but they can split said 50 to 25 of one style and 25 of another.
Was there an Australia mochi though? xD I honestly can't remember...

That's cool they're willing to split it up. And there's not an official Australia mochi, but all the fandom ones are pretty close to this design (http://chujo-hime.tumblr.com/post/13518527141/mochi-australia-was-based-off-of-fir3h34rts).

I agree that America and England's Mochis would be the most popular but I personally would want to get the Nordics, Liechtenstein, Sealand (does he have one?), and the BeNeLux (I hightly doubt they have mochis though) siblings ones.

Belarus and Taiwan are the two I find most tempting. Of course I am interested in any form of keychain of them whether mochi, neko, chibi, etc.

I don't think I've seen a Taiwan mochi, to be honest.

Chibi is, ultimately, what I'd love to be able to make. .__. But my art's just seriously not good enough for that yet.

Well, since I'm in love with Spain and Canada's mochi designs, I'm gonna have to go with those. XDD;; And maybe England and America too, and Italy's mochi design is pretty adorable... and if Russiamochi will look like that adorable picture you posted in your reply to rmcll, then I'd definitely want one of those too. *__* And I saw people mentioning Nordics... I'd be interested in a Norway mochi and an Iceland mochi as well... <33 OTL I swear this fandom is going to be the death of me, my wallet, and my bank account... I'm just glad you're not selling them now; I'm already broke enough as it is without the added temptation of adorable mochis....

Now that I'm thinking about mochi characters I'd want... does Romano have an official mochi design? I can't remember seeing one, if he does have it.... And a Romania mochi would probably be adorable, but I'm positive that he doesn't have a mochi design, so I'm guessing that he's out of the question.... XD;;

... Can I just give you my soul or something in exchange for merchandise? Because I don't think I'm going to have enough money for everything I want at this rate. XDD;;;

I'm not sure how I feel about the white lines. But. Thick black border's a requirement, so I'm not sure how else to go about it...

The prices will depend a bit on how many designs I go with, and how many get claimed in presales.
The site's a bit stupid in that the only shipping method with tracking is $50 no matter how big or small the order is.

I'm thinking I can get as low as $12 each, but I'd probably have to start the preorders at $15, dropping the price only if enough sell.

Well, tracking's to me, so it's not really optional, since there would be other people's money at stake.

But no I'll definitely sell them over LJ only.
They'll be acrylic, and 1 inch tall. If they go over well, my next batch might be metal-- but the cost is insanely higher, so it's a ways off.

Well, the problem is it all depends on what they charge me to submit the order. I mean, I'm not all that interested in a profit-- my profit will be getting that Russia mochi for my collection. But. xD At the same time I need to be able to afford the order.

Actually just put together designs for Canada and an Estonia/Latvia pair one. ;u;



I don't think Austria or Hungary have a mochi design yet, but, I'll probably be drawing up Belarus later. :>
