According to the cover of the July edition of BIRZ (to be released on May 30th), the fifth volume of the Hetalia manga has been announced.



The release date is currently unknown.

Here I'm wondering too if volume 5 will have the Birz serialization strips. Which seem to be like a reboot and all, but hmm.

On the other hand, could this be where we'll get Czechia? and Slovakia? It's great to know we'll be getting this, but I do hope Himaruya is alright and hasn't been too terribly overworked with everything. It was so odd to hear nothing from him for so long, although someone on Tumblr said it actually isn't pretty unusual when we consider the publishing business.

New volume? Eeeeee! I adored volume four, so I can't wait to see what will be in volume five.

I'd heard rumors that Himaruya was busy working on the next volume, and that's why he hasn't updated his blog in months, but I'm glad to get confirmation about this. Part of me was still worried that something had happened to him.

Anyhow, I'd hate to see Himaruya over-work himself, so how about pestering Studio Deen for another season or two of the anime while Himaruya takes a break?
