Summary: De-anon from the kink meme. "Back in 1069-1070, William the Conqueror ordered for the destruction of pretty much the entirety of the North of England. His men slaughtered people, destroyed livestock and farms so that people would starve, and set whole villages on fire." This takes its toll on France and England's relationship.
