[Raw] Comic Birz - Ep. 3

I got the January issue of Comic Birz in the mail today~ So here are scans of the comic as well as the tumbler slip.











There's a lot of small text in this issue, so I have a few bigger files atm for whoever decides to translate. If you still have trouble reading something, send me a message and I'll send some better details (my original files are twice the size of these larger ones, so don't feel like you'd be bothering me).

Why do I smell a remake of the first volume ? Same scenes, but better drawn.
Hetalia v2. I wonder if the serialisation will only aim to WW2. It's cool : it will leave the webcomic to other strips.

***Panel 2***
Japan:

Italy:
"Ah! Japan, wait!!"

***Panel 3***
Italy:
"That's alkohol.
It seems that the alcohol content is very high!"

And if you get drunk,
it will be difficult.
When you've become an adult,
it will be ok."

Japan:
"Eh..."

***Panel 4***
Japan:
"Well, I...

I'm far older than you, Italy-kun, you know...?"

***Panel 5***
Italy:
"Ooh! The serious Japan made a joke!
That's a good omen!"

Japan:

Germany:
"Japan, too, is a surprisingly happy fellow."

Sort of... What I'm doing is using and xacto blade to cut the pages out of the book. That one hard hard, because the pages were in the middle of the books, so it was hard to get a good angle. It would have scanned very poorly if I had left the pages in.

Ahh IDGI, I was checking bk1 for the next issue and it says it's not available even though it only went on sale a couple days ago. ;A; I'm hoping they get more in. I don't want to order it through a proxy again. This stupid book was like $50 because of shipping. DX

Looking at these scans reminded me of how much I love that Himaruya has his own style. The fact that the backgrounds aren't perfectly inked and the boxy format, I just love how he doesn't seem to have assistants and does it all on his own. I dunno, I just find it so refreshing. =3
