Also, if anyone wants to fill in, there are a couple lines of text from the first update that were missed. You can see them here for context: http://www.hetarchive.net/scanlations/xmas2011/2011_12.php

Germany: そういえば去年時差なくなってなかったか?

Italy: ヴヴぇヴぇ…俺んち魔女…すぴー

Oh, those must have been added later!

Germany: Come to think of it, wasn't there no time difference last year?

Italy: Vvee vee... witches at my house... *sleepy noise*

Thank you~!

Ahh, I wish there was a good sound effect to use in place of "sleepy noise". It sounds awkward. XD

You're welcome!

Hmm, maybe "snore?"

[identity profile] tarafishes.livejournal.com 2011-12-25 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
Sighing, maybe? Or mumbling? It's more of a peaceful sleeping noise I think, so a sigh or something like that could work.

I always want to copy the Hamtaro snoring noise and write "zuzuzu" though that's completely wrong here. :'D We were gonna go with "snore"... what about "zzzz"? hmm...

[identity profile] tarafishes.livejournal.com 2011-12-25 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
kdjsfhkjd that'd be great, but wrong ;u; Zzzz could work. . .or maybe just something like "nnn"?

Also, not sure you saw, but there's another picture added(though I'm dying to know what the broken image is. . . .)

Also, the "translating" thing having my name under it was an error. I scanlated; unfortunately I'd be pretty unhelpful translating except maybe words, phrases, and sometimes sounds.

To expand on Italy's witch line, I'm pretty sure it's a reference to Befana.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Befana

Maybe Italy's line could be "V-veve... My place has a witch... *zzz*" or something. I think Italy is unconsciously replying to Germany about how dangerous some of the European Santa's are.
