Exclusive con panel at funimation.com
For anyone who is interested, there's a exclusive Hetalia panel video from Naka Con on their official site: www.funimation.com However it's only available to Funimation Elite members. They have a two week free trial available. In it, Charlene Ingram talks about the rejected editions of the merchandise, rejected taglines, and packaging for the boxset and how Himaruya had a say in it. Brina Palencia ( Chibitalia), Patrick Seitz ( Germany), J. Michael Tatum (France), Clarine Harp ( China) are in attendance.

LOL... POOR HIMA...

SO... I must ask: what ideas WERE rejected, and HOW MUCH of a say did Himaruya have in it? I'd love to hear specific details about this.

Seconding the user above me, though. Since I don't follow Funi or have any interest in dubs in general, I'm not up for getting an account there. Details, once you have them~?

Seriously, could they be any cheaper? =.=
Also, poor Hima, I can already see him sweatdropping from here XD

Not to mention, I spent ages tracking down that nice Russia pillow they had,
it finally arrives?
:I It's a plain black pillow and the ENTIRE PICTURE is a yucky eraser-feeling iron-on. Th-they really know no limits to this D:
Also lolwut how is a pizza wallet Hetalia.
And how do they expect to make anything new when they keep reusing like three sets of stock art total?
I can understand if they can't get rights to Himaruya's own drawings. His policy's that they're free to use/edit/whatever as long as it's not claimed as your own or used for profit. Japanese merchandise is his profit.
But. Come on. There's tons of DEEN art out there. :I
