It is commonly known that you will grow thinner if you study abroad to the inland states in America.

I must say I'm a little bit miffed with the English request, if that was indeed all it said. I think all fans (that don't speak Japanese) should know enough English to form a proper, nice request, not just demand "motive X, exclamation mark!". Of course, I don't know what else might have been written in the request.
