hetalia | Looking for a Roleplay Partner!

I apologize if I shouldn't be posting something like this here. I always see advertisements for roleplaying universes, but I've never roleplayed before so something like that always seems intimidating. I'm also not looking for a huge group-orientated pre-made universe type deal. I'm just looking for one person that I can learn to roleplay with one on one. I've only roleplayed very briefly in the past, and I wasn't a fan of the super strict rules. What I'm looking for is a relaxed roleplay environment.

I like to write fanfiction, so if I could turn our roleplays into a fanfic, that'd be great too. It'd be awesome to meet another writer interested in roleplaying/writing fic together.

Now as far as characters/pairings I'm a bit specific. I like to roleplay America best (sorry if this is common or overdone or cliche or something) but I also wouldn't mind attempting Lithuania or England. What I'm most interested in is a Russia/American roleplay. A good, sadistic, bastardly Russia would totally knock my socks off. Seriously, I adore it. I also wouldn't mind roleplaying Lithuania to your Russia either. I'd also be willing to attempt England, but only if the other was to play France. I also like America/Japan, and I'd be willing to take on either role in that respect.

I should also mention that I wouldn't mind roleplaying something completely gen either. I love roleplaying the Hetalia characters as children, in particular, America (of course.) I love the FRUK family setting, so if someone wanted to be my Canada we could get into all sorts of brotherly misadventures together!

As far as settings I'm definitely into alternative universes. I love modern or highschool universes, and I'm not huge on fantasy. Something within the Hogwarts/Harry Potter universe I might be willing to try. I love AUs that start with the two characters meeting as childhood friends. I love awkwardness, first times, slight bdsm, and smut. I'd love someone who isn't embarrassed to get a little smutty in the rps.

Generally I'm just looking for a laid back person, but someone with enough free time to roleplay almost every night. I have no idea if what I'm asking for is unreasonable as, like I said, I am new to this. I'd prefer to roleplay on skype but we can always use something else if need be. Sorry that this post is so long and I apologize if I somehow did something wrong.

Oh my. *o* If I wasn't so ridiculously overwhelmed with school I would jump at this. But sadly I'm pretty much chained to my textbooks until December. orz I really hope you find a good roleplay partner, it seems like they'll have a great time! Best of luck and wishes!

Sure, but how exactly would we be able to do it on Skype? Wouldn't something more text-based be best for RP's? My personal favorite is Chatango, because it also allows you to be inside chatrooms to RP with more than one person at a time.

Well skype is a chat too, and it's the client that works best on my mac. I also just really don't like yahoo chat. I've never tried Chatango, but I don't really like to rp with more than one person at a time.

Alright, let's try Chatango then! How do we...go about that? I also like that skype is a downloadable program, so we can see when we're both online. I mean, with Chatango, how would I contact to let you know beforehand that I want to roleplay? With skype I cold just send you a message whether you're online or not, and I don't wanna rely on plain old emailing or livejournal.

Just go to Chatango.com and sign-up. It's fairly simple it asks for an e-mail and then for you to make up a user, then password. You can clearly see when I am online or not because there will be a small green circle which will indicate that I am online, or the same circle will be gray which means I am offline. Chatango also allows you to send me offline messagesthat I will get as soon as I log back into Chatango. Hopefully this helps. It's best to just do it. You learn best that way.

I meant more that I'll always have to keep that webpage open to see if you are online, as opposed to just staying logged in on skype, which would be a program on my computer. Either way, I signed up for chatango as "alfredism".

Aw! I meant it in a good way. I like Russias who are...intimidating? And not afraid to hurt/be crazy/mean. Not sure how to explain it. It's one of my favorite thing about Russia though.

Um, hello. Saw your entry and thought that I would like to reply because, well, you just kinda sounded like me. I only have a little bit of experience RP-ing with some casual stuff a friend and I got up to now and again. I LOVE FrUk family, kiddies, gen, and AU/school setting. America is the one I love best, but for some reason Canada is easier for me to play. I don't like RussiaxAmerica much (in a romantic sense anyway) but AmericaxJapan is a favorite of mine. I go by Pacific Standard Time and am usually free after eight o'clock consistently. I'm not sure what time works best for you... Anyway, I'm willing to try if you want. ^_^

No Skype doesn't work like that. Could you possibly download it...? If not I could try MSN, though I'm really not a fan.
