I'm use to the American anime plushies so I'm not really bothered by these *wish America's eyebrows didn't look so fake* but Gilbird... he looks like a duck.

Hmm... I agree with others that America's eyebrows look really fake and Gilbird looks like a duck and I wish that wasn't the case for either, but otherwise I'm not that bothered by the designs. And honestly, as cute as the Japanese plushies are, I really, really don't want to pay $20+ per plushie, so these work out well for me in two regards.

Come, America and England, 'tis time for you to join the mass of plushies on my bed!

I think England is one of the cuter Hetalia plushie made, more so than most of the Japanese ones even. I'm loving the darker tones of the uniform colours~ I just wish he was looking a little less uke desu and had his sandy blond hair colour from the manga, but at least it's not highlighter yellow orz

However, I will still stick with making my own XD

I like these better. wish England was more Tsundere then Uke looking but at least he's cute.

I find the England plushie adorable, even if he does look like he's in terrible need of a hug - why the sad face?! The America plushie's face doesn't like quite right to me (but his unform is really good oddly enough...) and Prussia's chick looks more like a duckling! My verdict is that these plushies are somewhat cute but no where near as cute as the Axis Powers plushies in their Gakuen Uniforms!

A little update, since I bought those two main plushies for my friend:

They are indeed just stock images where they placed the test features on or something. In the actual products, the facial features are perfectly fine, a high-quality and stable-feeling paint I think. They don't look just stuck-on at all.

Other than the hair color bothering me, and Britain's arms being a bit long for his proportions, I think they're super cute! I look forward to more of these coming out. I just wish they'd update the pictures so they wouldn't look so cheap, then maybe more people would buy them. I'll see about letting them know.

Over all, I've been waiting for something like this for EVER! The Japanese ones with dots for eyes just don't do it for me, I like them to have real eyes. I'm just hoping that they won't mess up the ones I'm really hoping for (Italy and Germany, and maybe Prussia). Fingers crossed here.

But yeah, I'd say buy 'em if all you were worried about was the faces' stability, because it's not an issue in the real products.

I also bought their Flying Mint Bunny, it's very cute (though lacks a tail. I'll find a pom-pom though, easy fix!). I'd say don't get the Gilbird though, I didn't cuz it's easy to find better looking chicks during Easter time, or in my case a tiny bird-blob thingie sold at many anime conventions is what I got for $5 instead. :3
