I think I recall Himaruya once saying on his blog that he'd give Bulgaria a mini-character, but that was an older post in '08 or so. That idea probably got stashed back with Noto-sama 6, the cleaning Prussia games, and all other ideas that seem to be pushed back or never heard from again XD;;. But I think Bulgaria has a better chance than the games. We'd just have to see if he gets any requests for Bul again, or if he ever decides to draw him on a whim.

And to clarify the cleaning Prussia game bit: He said the newest update would have some mysterious character in it. I'm guessing volume 4 and everything else kept him busy, and now he's got the deal with Birz, so we will have to see if it comes or not. I do wonder about which character he intended to put in!

by the way how many time has Himaruya drawn Bulgaria? maybe there's something I miss... I have so far seen him only in the first volume hitting Italy with a wood and in the last christmas event... (he was wearing a very cool smile lol!!!), besides that I can't remember anything...

Only those two times, unfortunately! And with such a gap between them.

We've yet to get that mini-character of him, but hopefully someday. Hopefully the site profiles will be done some time too. We haven't gotten really that much on Cyprus yet, speaking of little-utilized characters he's shown us.

Bulgaria has appeared in both the manga and the anime, just very early on. The last time Hima drew him was a sketch for the 2010 Christmas bloodbath. He just hasn't really shown up in so long people don't seem remember him. ;A;

Yeah, I knew of his appearances. He's just one of the guys that Himaruya seems to rarely draw or tell us about. I'd like to know what personality ideas he has for the guy, or anything! Cyprus and TRNC are so vague too, unless you count the old independent drama CD track about them (and even then, his plans could have changed).
