Superheroic (Parts 1-10 (http://hetalia-kink.livejournal.com/10456.html?thread=18559192), 11-18 (http://hetalia-kink.livejournal.com/15769.html?thread=45750937#t45750937), 19-22 ()) - Spain has secretly become a superhero called the Conquistador. Romano finds the Conquistador rather attractive. Spain decides to use Romano's new crush to his advantage. Hilarity ensues. Just make sure that you're not drinking anything while you read it; it will come out your nose at some point. (Trust me on this one.)

In general, the first place I go looking for reading material is the TV Tropes fanfiction recs (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/FanficRecs/AxisPowersHetalia) page. If TV Tropes doesn't end up sucking you in completely, you'll find some good stuff here.

The best thing about it: Oh, the fangirl squeals will reach the heavens <3 What seems to be a simple plot revolving around their sex life becomes a really deep discovery of Antonio's past by Lovino. Did I mention the squeals? :3 The fluff, the romance, the sugar...Saturday has become Rainbow-barfing Day for me. Seriously, this fic is like a religion or something for Spamano lovers. Once you get in, you'll never want ot get out.

'Auf wiedersehen, sweetheart', by George DeValier:
One of the finest pieces of artwork you'll find out there, and probably best GerIta fanfic you can read, each chapter feels like an orgasmic explosion of raw emotions in your tiny little heart. The sweetness, the drama, the historical background...Even a rock would cry over this.

The best thing about it: I could feel my heart trembling along with the character's emotions, and often found myself absorbing every word, every single detail, just to feel the intensity of it all. 'A way to say I love you', by Sapphire Moon:
Or Spain and Romano's ackward first time. Sexy and cute, it also touches on Romano's inferiority complex very nicely. Also, don't let that innocent one-shot format deceive you, this is a monster of almost 17 thousand words.
One of my personal favorites, and a must. read. Spamano fic, imo.

The best about it: One of my personal favorites (I'm a sucker for Spamano, what can I do), and probably one of the most enjoyable reads I've had. It's probably the only fic I've ever read more than twice. Having said that, I've probably read this particular fic over 10 times already. It's the kind of fic I just don't get tired of reading, and I love it <3

Another beautifully written Spamano AU, and the raw, real emotions of real life strike with full force once again. This time, however, the pace of the character development has been so methodically measured it feels just like real life, only more credible.

Oh, I remember this...everytime I saw an update I could feel my heart clench, but I just had to read it Ç__Ç By the time I was done reading it I had the urge to run to my mom to tell her I loved her. And no, nobody dies in this story, well, at least not physically...
CAUTION: Make sure there's a tissue box at hand before reading. Or two.

The best thing about it: The beautiful story the develops slowly and taunting like a blade through your skin while you moan in both pain/pleasure...that, and the tears. Yeah, this fic is actually responsible for 1 cm of the sea level rise every year.

'Catch You, Catch Me', by Hikari Kaitou:
Thief!Antonio x Hetare!Detective!Lovino. Cute and funny, accuracy doesn't really matter in a fic where the sillyness of it all makes up for everything (Note: not a crack!fic in any way). Antonio is just charming, and Lovino's plans to capture him only get sillier as the story continues. Simple and effective, I love this fic to bits :)
