Whe have to get rid of the "wall in the center", so that the country can get better and the progress will be naturally more effective!
When the Ostalgie level gets higher, Russia imposes himself on my big brother

(T/N Ostalgie is a combination of Ost (East) and Nostalgie)

What's that?

Iceland, Turkey, are you sure you want to come in EU? ^^'
(Has Greenland made a good affair to come out EU, has he/she/it ^^'?)
Oh Denmark, testimonial of toothpaste also during EU crisis <3

I can't help but think that America looks so cute trembling with his huge dollar. ^^ Can't wait for the translation.

I think you missed the first (second in the blog) image of Netherlands, the one with ギリシャにかまいすぎるとオランダさんがキレるぞ! below it.

Oh America...I don't even need translations to understand what you're going through D; Get that AAA back, like nowz.

[identity profile] x-cutslikesilk.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
lmao, I don't see us getting it back. not anytime soon at least, and most definitely not in the manner in which this government has been functioning for the past decade. it was kind of ridiculous we had a triple AAA with all three agencies in the first place given the fact that we are trillions of dollars in debt >___> (even if most of it is domestically incurred debt).

@ peruser and on top of it all, you have the 2012 elections coming up. I can guarantee both my kidneys that we won't see any actual legislation passing that are not political stunts in of themselves until after everything is said and done with and both parties have wasted more billions on their shitty, sparkly campaigns. *throws hands up in frustration*

huu huu Greece. ;___;

[identity profile] din-84.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Denmark don't give me those thumbs up when you started controlling your borders again with such dangerous neighbours as err Germany and Sweden.....

GERMANY AND SWEDEN

Thanks for your hard work translator<3

Oh no Prussia Ostalgie is so 5 years ago and you would NOT want to visit Russia let me tell you that.

[identity profile] juandalyn.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Duuuh... Ostalgie? XD Oh Gilbo you...

lol at Holland XD

Swiss and Japanese tourists? What are they doing there? XD

...and what's that about the baltic countries? I'm confused...

[identity profile] mertseguer.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
It's probably a reference how, now that the currencies of those countries has risen quite impressively against the euro it is very cheep for them to go on a holiday here.

In reality the Swiss is actually in quite a problem because of this since it's basically eradicated their strength as export country or a tourist destination. Even their internal market suffers because the population crosses the border to buy groceries and stuff in Germany and Italy.

it'll be alright, America. somehow, it'll be alright (⌐_⌐≡)
i support John Oliver's idea of another European war

[identity profile] seraphoftales.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
im guessing himaruya has decided to illustrate the european financial crisis by using a visual novel/sim game, or at least snapshots of said game

the player is controlling germany pffffft

i dont even...

also maybe "this dude" instead of "chap"??

[identity profile] fmptard.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
i was gonna say "this guy", but...

It took me a while to get my head around that Japanese sentence below Prussia.
I first didn't know what Hima went with rising prices in the East... Did he mean the rising property and renting costs? But that's a good sign for the economy in the East O_o.

.....

I tried again after the translation into English...

I think I got it now, he probably means the money we spend/t rebuilding the East ( but what has Ostalgie to do with that??? The mind boogles).
No worries Hima ATM everyone is moving from West to East here because they have the better unis, cooler cities and larger flats (for less moneyz), I don't see economically tattered Russia being successful in wanting to take "advantage".
Hell, Russia would not even get past Poland who's economy has grown incredibly in the last few years.

[identity profile] mykonos2.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)

/corrections? (Mostly coming from my Japanese-speaking friend)

[identity profile] tarafishes.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Isn't it more like "When the Ostalgic level/value get higher, Russia imposes himself on [my] big brother"? (So Russia comes over and tries to give Prussia hugs and be his friend and is Russia.)

Like, since it's a "game", it's like Germany's sanity meter?

And I think that'd be "wall in the center"--like the Berlin Wall. Though the rest of the sentence is fine, I think.

[identity profile] nodokaotonashi.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
That weird laugh comig from the two tourists bother me. Since it's "Fu" + "o", shouldn't it be "Fo fo fo fo" ? Otherwise, Hima coud have chosen "ho". I'm... Confused.

[identity profile] xxshilukixx.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Methinks China's just using that medicine to dope them all up and take back America's debts. :T

[identity profile] maple-destiny.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Somehow I had to laugh and snort hard at the Netherlands his expression when he said "let's kick him out!" to be fair most Dutch people actually want most of the Euro countries out the EU because they lower the Euro or something like that...pfffft.

[identity profile] din-84.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I have the best laughs when my Dutch friend starts ranting on msn about the current crisis lmfao.

Porr Germany D: Get away from the stress for a bit, its not good for you, believe me.

Lol Denmark and his bridge XD And Greece looks super cute drawing that heart <3

For some reason, I kind of like Netherlands' face there.

[personal profile] icelilly 2011-08-25 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Oh Estonia. Even in an economic crisis you still manage to sparkle. And it's rubbing off on Latvia and Lithuania!

America and Netherlands' faces are absolutely priceless. Especially Netherlands'! Thanks a ton for translating!

[identity profile] matistama.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
First off, nice to see you, Denny. I like that I can hear you singing in my mind when you say 'bridge'.

Greece, what is with the heart? It's so cute though~

Lastly, 'The Three Baltic Countries!!' .... that seems way too incomplete. I think there is some writing on the left of that panel (like right next to Estonia's head). Can anyone translate that bit to see if it make more sense?

[identity profile] hokuohranger.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
The line besides Estonia says: I'm a Nordic.
