Oh, and one really long note. Hungary called Ukraine 'Uku-san' in the Japanese text. I can't leave it as 'Uku' or 'Ukr or Ukra' because the former is Hawaiian for head lice and the latter two sound really awkward to me and the latter of the two reminds me of okra. I decided to go look for the Hungarian name for Ukraine but the results turned out the same.

I decided to go with Raine since it sounds more natural and sounds like a nick name (just get rid of the 'u' and the 'k' in Ukraine and voila!).

Do note, however, that Raine is in no way Ukraine's real human name and it's just the way I decided to translate Hungary's nickname for her instead of using the really out of place, to me in English, Uku-san and its alternatives. Raine is in no way endorsed by Hima-papa. My apologies for any confusion or anger I may cause.

Maybe more like the toplessness being "for some reason" instead of just, ya know, protesting. I mean, I know they do it to get attention, but it does seem sort of silly. "Stop being perverts! But look at our boobs!"

I always figured that a lack of boobs somehow made people perverts XD

like, covering them up all the time/having them "barely" showing makes them "sexy" or "taboo", where as in places that have breasts exposed all the time don't sexualize them at all. (I read somewhere that women in topless tribes laughed when they were told that in other places, "breasts are sexy/men really like them", saying "so the men are like babies? XD" )

idk though, maybe it really is just for attention OTL

Hmm, well the wiki page about FEMEN said they do it to draw more attention, since it's a very important issue, to set it apart from being "just another protest." So they definitely are helping make an impression, either way.

I was just saying that to those who don't realize that, it can seem contradictory or just silly.

But yeah, it's so weird, here in the U.S. it's taboo to show your boobs, and yet really, it's way more sexual to have them just barely covered. So you'll get chicks constantly finding 'inventive' ways to hide less and less, and it's still legal, yet constantly making men horny... OTL

I do think it's worse. Though I guess by keeping breasts "rare", it makes them more special to men (Just like how in the olden days, it'd be very sexy just to see a woman's knee! XD). If they're on full view all the time, it makes them lose sexual significance.

I LOVE those tribe women quoted there. XD That's great! Cuz seriously, that's what breasts are REALLY for! Feedin' babies!

It happens in the US too. Women have been kicked out of restaurants for breast-feeding their babies. They often have to hide it like it's a taboo. But come ON! It's exactly what is natural, and it shouldn't be demonized.

Some folks even have the nerve to say "They should do that in the bathroom!"

Alright good sir, take your dinner to the bathroom and eat it there, and see how healthy that feels!

I say, when it comes to feedin' babies... BRING OUT THE MILK-MAKERS! :D

Here in the UK, if you need to breastfeed your baby in a cafe/resteraunt, you HAVE to do it in a toilet. Toilets are considered the commonplace place for feeding babies. It's completely degrading. If seeing someone breastfeeding makes you uncomfortable, then STOP LOOKING!! It's YOU who's looking in the first place!
