AD: Taking Scanlation Requests

I have no idea what to tag this as...

I'm taking a translation class, for our final we have to do a translation project and I thought that using something that I've already done would be a cop-out...

So...I thought I'd let you guys request something and I'd translate it for my project and then scanlate it for you later! :D

Requirements:
- Must be between G and PG-13 (turning in something R-18 for a class would just be awkward)
- Dimensions have to be 700 or larger in width, the bigger it is the easier it is to read!

Preferences:
- Main characters are either "England and America" OR "England and Japan"
- 20-40 pages long

Other:
- BL is ok! My teacher is gay, reads BL, and has even written a book about BL ("Writing the Love of Boys: Origins of Bishonen Culture in Modernist Japanese Literature"), so I doubt that he'll care.

Right now, I only plan to do ONE, if after the first one there still isn't enough to meet the length requirement for the final, then I'll probably do a second one.

This is NOT first come first serve. I'll be doing which ever ones I like the most (I may as well do something that I think I'm going to enjoy).

Please note that this request offer is temporary.
After finding something that I want to use for the project, I'll no longer be taking requests.

Are you just doing translations of text or could you do audio too? Because that old "Axis Powers Hetalia: The CD" is pretty much begging to be translated now that the Cyprus character has a face.

It has to be text. If the dialog for the CD were typed out, then it would be fine. But if it's just the audio, then I'm sorry to say that it's no good for the class project (and no good for me in general. My listening comprehension skills are sub-par at best D:).

I even bought the book! It's interesting. :D

I love Hinako Seto, and her Re: Anko Uza Unlimited (http://www.mediafire.com/?gxsrvtm5599evg9) (DenNor, r-13, 23 pages not including front/back cover) has never been translated. Needless to say, the bliss having this in English would give me could not be measured by conventional means.

This is a Chinese scanlation of the doujinshi, so I'm afraid that I wouldn't be able to translate it (it does look cute, though)

But, to be honest, were it in Japanese, I'd probably be less likely to consider it. I'm not really a huge fan of the Nordics (I love them, just not enough to want to spend hours trying to figure out what they're saying. I'm not very good when it comes to comprehending the different dialects that they use).

Would you consider translating Riverside's "I Want You! ～恋の罠☆仕掛けましょ！～" (http://usxuk.livejournal.com/1544799.html#cutid1)? It's America x England, G, and a bit on the long side, but the page count includes the covers and blank and decorative pages. (There is a lot of text, though; maybe too much?)

I'd be happy to provide larger scans and/or help with cleaning and typesetting for a scanlation, if you'd like. ^^

Oh wow...I don't think I've ever seen a doujinshi with this much text before! But given the nature of the project, it should be fine. I might not have to do a second one if I use this! :D

My only concern is that I don't really know anything about Hetalia Fantasia, so there may be some things in this that I don't understand (also, given that some of the text are from online chats, I'm a little worried that there could be text speech that I'm unfamiliar with, but even if there is, at least it would be a new learning experience!).
But, I'm willing to give it a try if you don't mind that.

If you don't mind the possible problems listed in the above paragraph, then I would certainly love larger scans! The print is a little smaller than what I'm used to and some of the words are difficult to read(in the text speech areas and some of the hand written areas, in particular). If the width is 900 or 1000, it should be just fine. :)

That is quite large, but if you don't want to take the time to shrink them down to 1000 then I won't be terribly bothered by it.

I've already decided to do the one posted by worldrevived . But if by some chance I happen to be under the length requirement for the project, then I'll definitely contact the scanner for this and request permission to use it.

I would really appreciate it if you could translate the doujin USABON. It can be found at mint_bubbles. It is the most adorable doujin I've seen. Has USUK - bunny USUK - and Japan as a side chara. x3
