Quick translation 1
On p. 94 is written that "Ita-chan was like a devil", why was that?
The Italo-Turkish war, (Veneziano-Turkey as he says) in which the two countries continued to repeatedly beat the shit out of each other.
As Veneziano was on the height of his power, he led his fleets, knocked down Turkey and beat him off, and Turkey reluctantly set the first freedom messenger in a Christian country. (my history knowledge about these parts of Europe are very limited, could someone explain what he's talking about?)
But later Veneziano's situation got worse too, reinforcements didn't come either and it is said that he acted really demon-like in the hard struggle.
Yet he becomes clumsier (hetare) as he grows older...

There is a statue of Jeanne on Mont Saint-Michel, but I only found out as I read the pamphlet later. I definitely want to go there again to see her.
By the way, they sell omelets next to Mont Saint-Michel made with lots of meringue, they are quite extraordinary.
(proof Himaruya is co-working on the lyrics for MKC?)
> Uneme onsen (hot springs in Fukushima)
Do you know it???
> Were you able to defeat the zombies, Mr. Himaruya?
After that I took my pen and transformed into an undead while I wrote, so right now the zombies are my quite nice drinking buddies. (I can't get to the scans for vol.4, does this even make sense?)

Hungary has finally her partner for arguing. His strong points are good luck charms and magic. An eccentric and cheerful fellow.
> The asymmetrical guy that talked to Greece?
Cyprus.
Quite busy thanks to the arguments between Turkey and Greece. Cool and composed, he takes things easy.
> I was overwhelmed by the number of characters on the cover! But there were only 47, I would like to see the remaining three.
I want to upload the remaining three as soon as they are ready. I think 5 or 6 characters are missing from the back page. Super-tsunderela Korea too!

I was quite surprised as I found out that anko scores very highly on the list of Japanese meals that are not very popular with foreigners, about the same level as natto (fermented beans) and narezushi (fermented sushi).
Lots of people start eating it without knowing and end up being all "blergh". I saw with my own eyes someone return a Monaka (dry waffle filled with bean paste) being all "blergh". Even Chinese anko is problematic.
Even people who watched anime Doraemon and saw him eating dorayaki (little pancakes filled with bean paste), and were excited to try them out, ended up being "blergh" when they finally bit into them.
And by the way, there is always a troll who just saw reaction of someone else and whines about how he dislikes it for the sake of whining.
>The lovely island nations meeting
Meeting of people living on islands and fans of those islands. Lately they want to add sea fortresses too.
t/n I just saw a whole discussion on a Japanese forum in reaction to this about How on Earth can someone dislike anko?
Btw I would give many many internets to the person who would tell me the exact meaning of モッハ!

I'd like to see both of them do something in a strip one day. It'd be nice to get more females though, the brand-new nations in volume 4 were all guys ;;
