Hey~ I'm finally back with another coloring post!!!It feels good~ and I may not have colored as much ;D JUST A WARNING: A WHOOOOOLE BUNCH OF IMAGES IN HERE, EXTREMELY HEAVY School has been ok, the everyday climbing 4 floors is tough though.
As much as I love all the work you coloured in (really they're all pretty), could you please put everything under the lj-cut so that it's not covering the other tags or pushing down the other posts too far?
Where's the last three pics from? Are they Himaruya-official? They sure look like his style, but I don't remember them anywhere...
fem!Su-san's hair sort of just "stops" on the left... I know that's not your fault, it appears to have been drawn that way, but maybe the coloring could've been tapered somehow to soften the mistake.
And the one with Germany and MochItaly, I think Doitsu would be blushing a bit. And the waving Hungary looks like she has a little ribbon on her shirt that could've been colored some other color.
But otherwise, these are sooooo good! I've been scared of coloring my own work, but this might inspire me, or maybe I can ask you to give 'em a shot supposing I keep stalling at it. :3
My favs (coloring-wise) are Britain n America at the cafe (Great variety yet balance of palette, also nice technique balance between sharp and soft, somehow it just works, and great lighting and sunlight-dapples), Norway (nice use of color balance by adding little flashes in areas other than his magicking hand), fem!Axis (that coloring just looks so official!)... the coloring on the Italy brothers' and both Seichelles's hair is beautiful... both with Prussia are very natural looking (and really diggin' the velvet-look of pirate!Britain's hat!), great subtlety on Egypt and chibi-China's skin-tones for a different style, and the last three pics are just amaaaazing with use of subtle tones in the hair and just the right colored glowy spots, like the soft use of gold in the mostly-blue America-Britain pic to balance and keep their hair from sticking out too much, the bit of pink with the fem!Nordics to help with the background and soften them... yet contrast is used strikingly well in the final pic.
Aaaah, I shouldn't critique when I'm absolutely sleep-derprived... I misspelled that but I think I'll leave it... XD Anyway, thanks so much for sharing these, they're just so awesome!
Oh wow, these are so great! I like the Liechtenstein and the Prussia-and-England ones the best~ And Germany with Italy-mochi on his head is so cute, too, the way you've colored it.
