Warning: Politically minded and the pic is too large, so you'll have to click it twice.
Summary:No, no, this isn't a crack pairing, just a tribute to the German influence on American culture. Enjoy!

When I learned that William Penn sent brochures over to Germany telling everyone to get their butts over to America, I could have died laughing. And that, of course, is why the Pennsylvania Dutch exist.

Since you're economy is doing well
shouldn't it be:
Since your economy =D
And yes, our econonmy is doing well and where I live it's doing even better =D
Your Merkel really looks young and pretty and stuff ^^

Oh, and thanks! I decided to make her look a little younger, but Merkel really is not a bad looking woman!

Nice way of putting it, Obama you sly guy, you ♥
Well, the economy is doing well, not perfect, but well. Still means that the east is poorer than the west and the south is richer than both, but at least we're way over the crisis =D

America being so chipper while Germany just wants him to back off is hilarious.

And I love how you drew her :)

Yeah, I thought she looked nice in the dress ^^ I drew her in a suit below, you just can't really tell since it cuts off
:)
It would be weird, but there is really such an influence. I almost see the American Civil War as the time Germany shows support to America and gets them really affiliated. Ah, headcanon.
Re: :)
But the Civil War had German immigrants help out a lot in preserving the Union, while France and England sided with the Confederacy. I think Russia officially sided with the Union, so it was like Germany and Russia vs. France and England with America on both sides.

You draw our Chancellor really well. I actually think she never looked better before.XD
It's good to see that the americans seem to like us since we germans are pretty interested in everything that comes from the states. Except for cars. We can built those ourselves.^^
<3 Thank you!
I didn't know how to go about drawing Ms. Merkel, so I ended up deciding to do what I did with Obama; omit the less than perfect parts and just make her a nice looking anime version.
Ah, yes. The car; invented in Germany and mass-produced in America by Henry Ford, so most Americans think it was created here, haha. I think I'm the only person I know who drives a manual Ford anymore. Gets great gas mileage; but most people I know bought cars from Japan or Germany. The nice ones came from Germany. I guess in Heaven, they would all be the engineers. I guess Americans would be the assembly line workers (wait, that's a horrible job!)
