A gentle breeze made its way through the opened windows and into the neat room, blowing the curtains in the process and dimming the glassy surfaces inside of the room, giving the place a frozen aspect.
In the middle of the bedroom, a young nation was lying in the bed, half asleep. His eyes were shut tightly, in a stubborn fight against consciousness. But the feeling of coldness around him was unpleasant, and, no matter how hard he tried to keep his eyes closed, he still could feel his sleepy mind slowly drifting out of the domains of Morpheus.
The wind blew again, and, this time, Matthew had to give up. Wrinkling his nose, he opened his violet eyes and blindly scanned the room before searching for his glasses. His bones were starting to ache, and he was shivering.
And the fact that he was stark naked little helped.

It was a divine law that no pleasure would come without a punishment. So, when Netherlands decided to get out of the peace of his hotel room to shove half of the city’s alcohol stock down his throat, he knew that, in the morning after, he’d be suffering from the dreadful effects of a hangover.
So, there was no need to panic when he woke up to find himself incapable of opening both of his eyes (he opened one and, when managed to open the other, the first one closed, retinas burning from even the slightest source of light). His hearing seemed so sharpened that everytime he heard the faintest sound he swore he could hear the ringing bells of Saint Peter’s Cathedral in Rome.
And he was attending to a summit in Canada.
